I actually roleplay a somewhat Teaching Darkness approach to things... But with my own spin on the situation. So, in a way, Mephiles the Hedgehog CAN be appropriate.

mephiles is the conciousness of solaris as well as the evil of it, he is a shade. if he was a demi-god then he would have defeated shadow easily
