Sorry for the delayed review, I got caught up in a bunch of things, and for the first time since this series started, Lie to Me actually slipped my mind!
Not that anyone will notice that this is a late review, but I let myself down. =(
Anyway...this episode was quite a mish-mash of alot going on. And I'm actually glad for it, because Lie to Me has been so drama heavy (hence why it's a drama) but it's been lacking that element of humor, mainly in Loker. And tonight, they brought it back.
Now we all know what happened in the episode, someone get's shot, someone's set up, and they go searching for the person who planned it all.
We saw Ria a fair bit in the beginning, but she seemed to dissapear completley por the end...same goes for Gillian.
This episode really focused alot on our new, and now gone, character Clara. Even though this is only her 2nd and LAST episode, she apparently had a big role...I must have missed it.
However, I did find myself yelling at Cal for 'getting' with her...every 3-4 episodes he does that. How is he supposed to have a stable relationship with anyone when he's constantly getting with aleatório women all of the time?
Hopefully Gillian will smarten him up.
My main focus this time was Loker's story. He had friended Emily on a 'Facebook' knock-off, 'Buddybook', and was pretending to share common intrests with Emily to 'protect' her...now, I had figured something might happen between them, but it was only a brief thought and I quickly shot it down por how far-fetched that idea was. Then, not 2 segundos later, Emily kissed Loker.
I almost bust a gut I was laughing so hard, I tell you. And the outcome was even funnier.
I knew what Cal was going to do to Loker before he even talked to him, and I was giggling all the way up to the punch.
It's the element of comedy that makes this drama heavy series a bit mais berable, and through all of the tears this show can induce, it's nice to have a good giggle now and again...or tear inducing laughter.
