“Who’s that woman?” He didn’t know how to answer.

“Hugh?” She said snapping Hugh out of his thoughts.
“Lise, what happened between the two of us last night?” Lisa was mais anxious to hear the answer to the pergunta she had made, not hearing that pergunta again. She rolled her eyes.
“Nothing.”
“Then we are ok?”
“We’ll always be ok.” Hugh nodded his head, he scratched his nose and began tapping his feet.
“Ok so the woman is…”

Flash-forward
Lisa awoke in a lonely bed, she breath in his scent. She felt his missing. Though only had gone through the last time he slept seguinte to her, his memory was still impregnated in the sheets’ aroma.
It was the first time for the mês she had slept alone. She had been rebounding with many men ever since Hugh left. Hugh left, leaving only a perfumed sheet, an empty bottle of wine, which had been used to play a amor game and a tore up Lisa.
No, Hugh wasn’t dead, but he was gone for Lisa. Her chances with him staying only as dreams. Hugh now was with…Lisa couldn’t even pronounce her name. Hugh was happy…but with another woman, and it was not Jo.
Lisa stood up from her guest room’s bed, looking down at it, wondering if she’ll ever wash those sheets. Slowly she stumbled to the bathroom and got ready for work.
-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_
When she arrived at work everybody stared at her wondering what had aged her so much? Her barely noticeable wrinkles from a ano atrás now looked as Great Canyon, she was thinner and her smile didn’t appear as naturally as it did.
The last mês the whole crew had considered her an easy sleep since she had slept with at least 5 of them in the past month. Ignoring all the glares she was receiving she walked through the alley and saw costa talking to Jesse. She walked towards them, forcing a smile.
“Hey Lisa.” Both men greeted. She just nodded her head and David noticed the huge dark circles beneath her eyes.
“Did you sleep well last night?” David asked carefully, trying not to pinch any nerve. The cast knew that Lisa was going through a hard situation but they didn’t know exactly through which situation. Lisa shook her head, she had cried almost all night but the reason sounded so pathetic to say.
“Lisa, may I talk to you in private?” Jesse got the sign and left. David turned to Lisa. Oh! Lisa felt it, the pep talk was coming.
“What’s wrong? You have lost weight, your energy has been down, you don’t play or tell any jokes. It’s like ever since we came back from hiatus they changed the Lisa Edelstein we all loved and changed it for,” He looked up and down at Lisa, “this.”
Lisa didn’t know how to respond to the accusations her boss had made.
“I’m fine.” Lisa said, shrugging and faking a smile. David just stared at her not believing a word from what she had said.
“Ok,” Lisa began admitting, “I’m not fine. I’m just going through some family trouble, but it’s really personal stuff. I promise to you that it won’t interfere with my job.”
“Well, it is already interfering.” Lisa caught the tone of disapproval in David’s tone.
“Look. We all have trouble once in a while and I can totally get how you feel but it’s not like some family problems are gonna let you destroyed and changed. I just want to see you cheerier, I bet everybody does. Can the old happy Lisa come back?” Lisa sighed, knowing that her happiness wouldn’t just return por taking in David’s words.
Either ways she nodded and gave costa a shy smile. She opened her mouth to reply something but in that moment Hugh came running towards him.
“Hey Dave, Olivia and Omar are ready to shoot that Foreteen scene.” David nodded towards Lisa, signaling he was leaving. Hugh turned to see Lisa when David left.
“Hey.” Lisa avoid eye contact.
“Hey.” She replied.
“Are you feeling ok?” Lisa nodded not turning around to face him.
“Are you mad at me?” He said imposing his tall figure in front of Lisa. She finally looked up at him.
“No, I’m just tired. I think I should go to my changing room.” She said trying to walk away but he moved in front of her again.
“You are, tell me what’s wrong?”
“Nothing is wrong,” And fake smile #382 appeared, “I’m just tired.” Without missing a beat she trailed away from Hugh.

Lisa came back to her changing room after a tiring dia of shooting. She heard a knock. She opened and found Hugh leaning at the frame, blocking the entrance with his arm.
“Hugh, I was just about to get changed. Could you
come up later?” Hugh shook his head.
“You change later, we talk now.” He forced himself into the changing room. He sat in one of the chairs that were placed in front of the mirror. Lisa closed the door and went to sit to a chair that was seguinte to Hugh’s. He turned to face her
“What’s wrong?”
“I told you nothing is wrong.”
“And I told you, I’m not going to buy it. Even with you fake smiles, you can’t lie to me.”
“Huuuugh-“She said like a 5 ano old who didn’t want to eat her vegetables.
“Oh, don’t ‘Huuugh’ me! I know you are mad. I don’t know about what or why but that’s why I am asking.” He looked at her again and saw how her expression was neutral. Deep inside though Lisa was holding the pain and rage she felt towards him.
“The fact you are not talking to me proves even mais that you are certainly mad or I am that annoying.” He smirked but Lisa didn’t change her expression.
“Lisa,” He was being serious now, “I’m sorry for whatever reason it might be. I don’t want things for us to change. I miss laughing with you at all times and I miss talking to you and listening to you. Would you forgive me?” Lisa hesitated but she finally manage to look at him, her eyes had become teary.
“Hugh, this is not about forgiveness or not. Is just me trying to adjust to reality.” Hugh raised an eyebrow, not getting at all what Lisa was talking about. She wiped the showing tear and continued,
“I just gotta learn how to live with the facts.”
“Adjusting to the facts? And that implies stop talking to me? In which aspect? What facts?” Lisa stood up. He was getting her dizzy with all this questions. She glanced at him, he still expecting
an answer.
“I just know that things have been this way ever since we got back to work, after your party. You gotta help me mend whatever mistake I have committed.”
“Yes, it has been like that ever since the party!” Lisa exploded, all her feelings crashing her head.
“But why?” Hugh turned his head as Lisa walked nervously across the room.
“Because…you were drunk.”
“So? You’ve seen me a thousand times drunk before.”
“And you stayed at my home.”
“Well, I thought you would receive me.” Lisa stopped and look into his eyes.
“We’ve been like this ever since you told me…” She trailed off hating herself for what she was thinking.
“Ever since I told you what?”
“Ever since you told me what made…who made…” Hugh just stared at her waiting
“Ever since you told me you loved…” Lisa couldn’t say it.
“Katie?” Hugh finished the sentence for her.
