"She should have told you." Wilson said as he turned to the classic rock channel on the car radio. House closed his eyes and leaned against his seat.
"Well, there are so many things we both should have done...I'm too tired to think about that now."
Wilson looked over at his friend and sighed.
"I'm sorry that you were hurt... what the hell does she see in that bumbling idiot?" Wilson asked.
"He's clever. He isn't as dumb as he tries to seem. He knew what he was doing bringing up the delusion and atuação as if it was... insignificant." House said as he opened his eyes.
"You think he was purposely trying to make you look bad?"
"It's genius. He looks like the awkward guy who just doesn't have a clue, and although Cuddy is annoyed she brushes it off, and chalks it up to Lucas being oblivious. But all the while he made sure to mark his territory, assert his power, and humiliate me all at once..."
"You're account of this is amazingly rational... It's okay to let some anger out... some sadness."
House looked out his window.
"That's all I have felt for the last two years...I want to feel happy." House said as he finally turned to meet his friend's gaze. Wilson smiled weakly and then nodded.
"I know what you mean."
