The sun was nearly high noon. Birds we're singing, the breeze was blowing, and the warmth was creeping all around. Cuddy was lying in bed, perfectly still. She began to wake up, and felt around the cama for House, but he wasn't there. She opened her eyes and sat upright in cama and found that he was no longer seguinte to her. She scanned the room; His cane and key had remained in the room so he clearly hadn't left. She looked curiously around, and then finally got out of bed. She walked over the the bathroom checking if he was there, but he of course, wasn't. Soon enough he came in the room with food, followed por an angry woman. She was yelling at House in a foreign language that he apparently could speak, because he was yelling back. He put the tray of comida down on the mesa, tabela and turned around to continue yelling at the woman. Cuddy tried interrupting them, trying to stop a migraine from forming.
"House!"
They both looked at her.
"What did you do to this woman?"
She spoke English, so she began to talk to Cuddy.
"He barged into my kitchen, started working, stealing and making this, as if his own kitchen!"
"Why were you in her kitchen?"
"Getting us breakfast."
"You eat the breakfast. THEY make it themselves. You can't go barging in there trying to steal food. My apologies."
The woman left and slammed the door shut, with disgust in her eyes.
"HOUSE,"
She smacked him upside the head.
"you can't do that! What on Earth were you thinking?"
"I was hungry and I felt the need to satisfy that hunger."
She walked into the bathroom and he called out as he prepared the food,
"I brought comida for you too you know!"
Cuddy took a chuveiro for about ten minutes. She came out with her hair drenching wet, wrapped in only a towel. She walked out, shaking her hair trying to get it dry. When House saw her, he said with his mouth full with eggs,
"That's once sexy towel you got there."
"Shut up."
"I mean it! Your hair is even better too. I like it drenched."
She whipped her hair across her face and they both started laughing. Cuddy changed into her jeans and her usual low cut topo, início while her and House discussed some of their plans for the day.
"We're leaving in a half hora or less."
"Okay."
"So eat up."
"Okay."
"You've stopped asking where we're going?"
"Yep."
"Be-cause...?"
"Why should I ask if I already know what you're going to answer?"
"It's worth a shot."
"Fine," she said as she walked over to the table, "where are we going?"
"It's a surprise remember?"
She smacked him across the head again, mais playfully this time.
"Why did you wake up so early? I was supposed to wake you up myself."
"Couldn't sense you seguinte to me, so I just woke up."
She walked over to him and wrapped her arm around his neck, resting her head on his shoulder.
"You knew I'd be back."
"I know."
"We're leaving in ten minutes. Eat up."
"I'm fine," and she gave him a kiss on the cheek and started fixing their bed.
"What are you doing?"
"Making the bed," she pulled the covers all the way back up making everything neat.
"Nope, see China already did that. That job you're doing is for the maid. Stop it," he came up to the cama and messed it up. He pulled the sheets here and there and then fell back on them.
"Get--up--!"
Cuddy struggled to pull the sheets from underneath House but all she did was wrinkle them mais with no improvement.
"Fine."
She walked away towards the bathroom, going to fix her face when House slowly got off the cama and went back to eating. After a minute, she peeked from behind the mural separating the bedroom from the bathroom and saw that he wasn't on the bed. So she rushed in there, quickly trying to fix the bed. He saw her, limped over and tried stopping her. He knocked her over on the cama facing up and began clutching her hands in his, preventing her from moving.
"Ugh! House!!"
"Ello lovely!"
"Get. Off."
"If you stop fixing the bed."
"NO."
"Then we'll have to stay here. Either way, you'll surrender. Because I either, have sex with you and we mess the cama up again anyway, or quick make out. Your choice."
"Which one is less time consuming?"
House was shocked at her retort.
"You planned this."
"I hoped for it."
"Well played."
She gave a smile then he said,
"And, they'll both take the same amount of time, so why don't I choose. There are no surprises cause, you know I AM a FUN person."
"Fine por me."
It was quick, but worth it. Cuddy dropped her attempt of fixing anything in the room and House was satisfied with the early morning rendezvous. They got dressed, House grabbed his cane and before they left, he put a blue and yellow blindfold over her eyes.
"Can't let you see anything yet. It'll spoil the surprise."
"Wasn't blindfolded last night."
"You were barely alive there was no need."
House guided her out of the room into the hallway, directing her to the lobby. The person at the front escrivaninha, mesa was the same woman from the anterior night.
"Good afternoon sir, is you're--wife--feeling better?" She hesitated because she saw the blindfold over Cuddy's eyes.
"Yes. She's hungover so I'm averting her eyes from the light. It's like a major migraine once the light hits." Cuddy's mouth dropped at their conversation.
"Well, I hope she feels better. Have a nice day."
"You too."
They walked out of the sliding doors, walking over to the car. House opened the door for Cuddy but ended up hitting her with the car door as he opened it.
"Ow?"
"Sorry, didn't see you there."
They got into the car and made their way to their destination. segundos after they drove off, Cuddy began questioning him.
"I'm hungover?"
"Told her you were extremely intoxicated last night when you fell asleep in the lobby."
"And I'm also your wife?"
"Sure. But trust me, it wasn't my idea. She said it first, but I would've gone with highly intoxicated mistress."
She gave one of her smirks as they drove on.
"Have any idea where we are?"
"Not guessing."
"Because you are sexy and clueless or sexy and naive?"
"Sexiness can contradict my notions and motives?"
"Why not? I find it unbelievably impossible that a woman, of your character, can be that sexy, and not have that beautiful sexiness affect your decisions, motives or anything pertaining to your
thoughts."
"It's possible," she uttered with sarcasm.
They continued talking as they drove down the road, finally making their way to the last place Cuddy should expect. Where they first met.
"We're here."
House got out of the car making his way to Cuddy's side to guide her out.
"And where exactly is here," she asked while getting out of the car.
"Take it off."
"Now? The blindfold?"
"No, later, and your bra."
She untied the blindfold: The sun beamed on her face and there she saw it. The familiar paths, fields, buildings and statues. She turned to House and slapped him across the head for yet the third time, but this time, with a sincere smile.
"You drove us all the way back here?"
"Wilson owes me a hundred."
They both looked around, thinking back, reminiscing about their college years as they stood in the familiar parking lot from many years ago: They were at the universidade of Michigan.

They walked outside along the old pavement, looking at buildings, statues and fields. They walked all the way back down por the old courtyard por Cuddy's old dorm, where House would wait for Cuddy whenever they went to parties or just went out. They sat down at the bench looking back at the building before them.
"God this brings back so many memories."
"One in particular should spark up."
House gave a grin, as she stared at him questioningly. Then her eyes turned bloodshot.
"Oh my God." The tone of her voice was flat.
"Oh my God. It was when we--?"
"Yeah ma'am. Your room, right there," House pointed at a room on the fourth floor of the dorm.
"Oh God. I remember I was trying so hard to get you out of my room...And then.."

Few years earlier
A young woman with wavy black hair and slate blue eyes was shushing and closing the door. She was forcing the door on young man, with dark hair, devilishly good looks with a pair of piercing blue eyes, who was attempting to get into the room.
"House--get--out!" Even back then, they called each other por their last names. He finally made his way into her room.
"Why were you lip locking with Dickinson?"
"What?"
"At the party."
"What?"
"THE PARTY."
"I heard you. Why--here? Now?"
"I have to admit it WAS intense lip action."
"Why do you care who I tongue wrestle with?"
"NICE."
"Thanks, GET OUT!"
"Just tell me why you were--"
"I LIKE GUYS, GOODNIGHT--"
"If you liked ALL guys, you would've kissed me por now--"
"Why couldn't you do this," she stared at her watch, "four hours ago? When it was eleven and I was awake?"
"You're awake now."
"God, you're unbelievable."
"I know. Now just answer the question--"
She got up in his face and said,
"I LIKE GUYS, GOOD NIGHT!" And she turned on her heel going back in her bed. House walked over and sat on her cama and tried waking her up again.
"If you don't get out of here now, I'm going to call security."
"You wouldn't dare."
"TRY ME."
He sighed and left her room but he wasn't going to give up yet. As soon as he got outside he took some pebbles stood on a nearby statue and began chucking them at her window. Once he had ran out, he began climbing up to her window. He started on a first floor balcony and made his way up gripping for dear life on the bricks and cement before him. He was halfway there when Cuddy came to the window. She opened it and saw him climbing up to see her.
"What are you doing!?! You're going to kill yourself!" She was yelling at him in a whisper; Loud enough for him to hear but quiet enough that others didn't. He ignored her remarks and continued onward up to meet her. Beads of sweat came rolling down on his face as he got closer. He was smiling proudly as Cuddy sat by, eyes widened in a panic. Suddenly, he began slipping. He pulled upward faster and harder as the beads of sweat fell in larger amounts. He was inches away and he was slipping at the same time. With his last bit of strength in his legs, he managed to prop himself up at her window, clutching the window pane for his life.
"Hi there."
"What the hell is wrong with you?"
"Just felt like a climb. Exercise is good you know. You should try it sometime."
"Ah, get out of here."
"See now, I have to get IN here to get out. Unless you want me to do it fairly quickly, and let me plunge into the cold hard Earth."
"Climb down. You managed to climb up." She walked away leaving the window open apparently leaving it open for him to climb through. Only he didn't. He nodded at her last remark and began climbing down nearly slipping. He was struggling to keep himself steady while struggling to ask,
"R--ead-y to ch-ange your--mind?" She came to the window and saw him struggling to hold on.
"I was being sarcastic! Get back up here!"
He quickly climbed up and through the window.
"Thanks."
"Now get out." She began to walk back to her cama until he said,
"I just need to know one mais thing."
She stopped at the very edge of her bed. She turned around and said,
"What?" But segundos before she could throw him an annoyed and irritated look, House had come over and locked his lips with hers. She was hesitant at first before she started beijar back. Soon enough, he wrapped his hands around her waist and hers around his neck. Their lips were entwined together, while their tongues darted in and out. Soon enough, they were throwing each others clothes about, making their way to her escrivaninha, mesa on the opposite side of her bed. He swept everything off and lifted her onto the desk. Her face cringed a bit as she lied flat on the cold escrivaninha, mesa beneath her. House grabbed his jaqueta and wrapped it around both of them.
"You so have to burn that." They talked in tender whispers as their intake of breathes intensified.
"I know."
"This is a one time thing."
"Why wouldn't it be?"
"I don't want things getting complicated."
"Why would they?"
"Just give me an answer."
"This won't change anything."
It lasted for an hour. They both feel asleep on her desk. Less than an hora later, dawn broke, shining a light through the window, causing it to reflect on House's face. He woke up and got dressed, leaving a note and his jaqueta behind as he quietly slipped out the door. When Cuddy's alarm went blaring off fifteen minutos later, her eyes shot open. She sat upright on her desk, realizing she was covering herself with House's jacket. She looked at it for a segundo and realized at note in the jaqueta pocket. She pulled it out and opened it.
"That was fun. We should do it again sometime."
She closed her eyes and smiled, folding the note and putting it back into the pocket. A sudden summer breeze blew through the open window. Cuddy gave a slight shiver and then wrapped herself in House's jaqueta as she viewed the window before her. She was picturing House's face in the window, grinning, as he had clung to the window pane for his own life, only a few hours ago.

"I think I still have that jacket."
"Don't blame you for keeping it. Was hoping you would." Cuddy gave a smile.
"I still remember that night so clearly..I was so angry at you. You nearly killed yourself trying to get up there."
"Well, I wouldn't need to if you hadn't kicked me out."
"You would've called security on me."
"You know I wouldn't have the guts to do that."
"Well you know--"
"That was just your way of torturing me and putting on a butt load of guilt."
"Ah, the good ole days."
"House!"
