"Isn't it time for you to go início to the rugrat?" House asked as he sat down in his ergonomic chair.
Cuddy pushed his feet off the ottoman and sat down too.
"She's spending the night with her aunt Lena...Lena wants some practice taking care of a child. David and her are trying to get pregnant."
"So, why aren't you heading home? You a have free night to yourself for the first time in months and you spend it at the hospital?"
"...I wanted to talk." She replied looking down at her shoes.
"About?" He asked.
Cuddy looked up and smiled weakly.
"You found out that Foreman and Dr. Hadley have still been seeing each other, and they proved that they can still do their work. They completely fooled you for two months into thinking they broke up..."
"Hey! I knew something was up." House said with a roll of his eyes.
"The point is they are doing well together. Cameron and Chase have done well together. Maybe it's time for..."
"For us." He said while looking at his own shoes intently.
Cuddy rested a hand on his knee. House looked up.
"I wanted you to be at Rachel's naming ceremony...I loved the desk, and I did act differently during the hostage situation because you were involved...I am so tired of pretending that you aren't what you are to me." She said with a break in her voice.
House looked at her dumbfounded. She had made him speechless once again.
"So? What do...you...think?" She asked.
"...You loved the desk?" He asked in a whispered tone.
"I would've told you but I saw you with some woman and...I got scared." She said as she looked away from him.
"...I haven't slept with anyone in a year." He confessed in a sad tone.
"What about the hook-..."
"I need to keep up my rep." He said with a grin.
Cuddy smiled back. House sat up and leaned over to place a hand on her knee. His face was a few inches from hers. She placed her hand on his cheek.
"I like you alot." She said.
"Me too." He replied as he pulled her face even closer to his own and kissed her deeply.

After a few minutos of intense beijar the two broke apart. por this time Cuddy had been pulled into House's lap as they both sat in his office chair.
"I can tell por the look in your eyes what you want to do." Cuddy said playfully as she ran a hand through his hair.
"I have a feeling I'm not alone in that." He said as he kissed her neck.
"Your office has no privacy though."
"Everyone on this floor has gone início for the night, and the janitor already came by...we're alone." He said as he rested a hand on her thigh.
Cuddy smiled devilishly at him.
"But we're in a chair." She said.
"There are ways,Cuddy. There are ways." He replied as he leaned back and pulled her to sit on topo, início of him.
