Umm.. i gotta say when Dumbledore.. died. :( he was one of my favourites.. along side Luna, Draco, Ron, and Sirius, but awwwweee. i cried in the movie & the book when that happened.. :(

There were many major shocks, but I decided to concentrate on the little things.
So, I would have to pick Sirius's mom. Her appearance (JK's description) and the surprise when I first read about her in Order of The Phoenix.

That Harry was a wizard, that Tom Riddle is Voldemort, Sirius Black is Harry's godfather, Snape was a deatheater, that Dumbledore knew Draco's plan all along and that Snape was GOOD and Harry had to die! It was ALL very suprising!!!

Big ones: Mad eye moody (i think someone else mentioned that already!), Sirius intro-you think he's a bad guy but actually he's a good guy and harry's godfather, Snape, Voldemorte's story and all about Dumbledore really :)
