Tell your friend to read the books and they'll get it.

To a true Potterhead, "always" means mais than "all the time" or "without exception". It is no longer just a word; it is now a symbol of our undying amor for the books and the characters, just like Snape's undying amor for Lily. The term is really a point of connection for fãs everywhere, a way of showing our loyalty to Harry Potter.

Don't be snarky! I can explain! I just can't put it into words that my friend could understand. She likes Harry Potter, but not as much as me. And the reason why I asked is because I'm not good at explaining things to people when they don't know much about the subject!

When I am eighty and sitting in a rocking chair, I will be leitura Harry Potter. And one of my friends will look at me and ask, "After all this time?" and I will answer "Always."

As Potterheads, we will ALWAYS amor Harry. We will ALWAYS follow his story, from start to finish. He is a part of us. He lives on in us. Years from now, we will dust off the series and show him to our children and grandchildren. The Boy Who Lived lives on…in us, his fans. His story will never truly end until there are no mais Potterheads. As long as at least one of us keeps to the old ways, he lives on. We all were touched por the series. It can't be helped. Harry is a part of who we are. We are the Potterheads.

You mean that Harry is "never truly dead until there are no potterheads who are still truly loyal to him."

To me, there are two meanings to this quote:

1. To a true Potterhead, "Always" means that no matter what happens, we will always believe. We will always defend, protect, and fight alongside him.

2. To me, it's the definition of love. Because if you truly amor someone, you will never desert them, and be with them, "Always".

when we say always we think of severus. always is forever and it means we amor harry potter forever. always is mais then one word, it's the base of our fandom. always is our symbol that we go to. if we can only say one word to explain harry potter, others would say great, or good, or magical but we say always because harry potter is always in our heart, harry potter is always in our minds, harry potter is always part of our life and one of our friends. always means mais then forever it is mais then anything because always means till the end of our existence, until everyone forgets us like harry potter will be always around me until I'm dead and everyone has forgotten me. harry potter will be around always as long as one person remembers them then they will always be here and will never leave us to fend for our own.

Wasn't 'Always' standing for Snape's undying amor of Lily Evans/Potter, Harry's mom.

But! It also means we Potterheads, we'll always stick around.

I see it as a reference to the romance novel "The Fault In Our Stars" por John Green. There are 2 characters (they're dating) who say "Always" to signify that they will always amor each other, and all that stuff. I think it is a reference to connect that to Snape's amor for Lily, because he will always amor her

I doubt it's a reference to TFIOS, since I believe that was written years after the final HP book. "Always" is just used in several fandoms, because of its simplicity which means it can fit easily.

The significance of "Always" in Harry Potter is something that goes deeper than what most HP fãs would suggest. It can be rooted all the way back to the first book. Always means that amor never ends and that, no matter how damaged someone is, amor will always prevail. Always means that amor is the most powerful kind of magic (5th book reference :D) and nothing can overpower it. Always IS The Harry Potter series.
