The Resurrection Stone : Who would you see if you had it in your hand ? What would you tell them (if anything to tell them) ?

I loved that scene in DH 2 movie. The música for that moment is wonderful too.

I amor the whole issue of amor stronger than death in the HP saga. I'm sure they can help considering death as less frightening as our beloved ones are "always" with us, "until the end". They are never missing, just in another plane of existence. But like Dumbledore said : "Because it happens in our head, doesn't mean it's not real."

I would probably see my grandfather who died suddenly when I was 8. We were close and I would really just like to tell him how much we all miss him and that he really left an impact on all of our lives. There is a possibility that i would see my great grandparents as well but my grandfather meant the most.

Kinda just...want to see him one last time you know? It would be bittersweet.

I can relate to that - sometimes, we didn't have the time for proper goodbyes for example.

I would see my late puppy, Molly. She was always there for me, and if I had a bad dia she would cheer me up. I would just want to play with her one last time.

Probably my best friend's mother. She died recently and my friend was devastated. I wish i could do smth to help her. But as the movie explains even if let's say we have a stone like that and we use it, the ones who we call back will not be happy here because they don't belong here ...

And like for the Mirror of Erised, it doesn't do any good to dwell on this kind of things. Unless after a certain time. Harry was ready to spend a lot of time in his 1st yr in front of the Mirror, but as he matured, he is happy to see his beloved departed ones but nonetheless, he let go of the Stone por himself.

It's all up to the choice you make. Harry made the right choice because he understood the consequeces .

That's just great - just to tell them we are fine, we amor you, everything is OK, don't worry. I'd do that with my own parents - to tell them I amor them, ask them if they are proud of me and bid proper goodbyes. Could not do so just before they died.
