Lol. I never found out until they were shooting the 5th movie. I remember (in an interview) for Half Blood Prince -at the part with the perfume billboard in the train station and they gave Dumbledore a certain line but then they said to the director "he can't say that. A gay man wouldn't say that." The director was like "What?"

They enviado the line to be said to JKR that added in the script margin that Dumbledore would not say such a thing as he was gay. The line was a comment made por Dumbledore about the girl showed on the perfum ad, he stated in the first draft of the script that she reminded him a girl he had known long atrás in his youth...
It was never mentioned in the books or something. I once heard that someone asked JKR a pergunta relating to why Dumbledore was never married, and she answered por saying he was homosexual. XD
