Hello, people of Generator Rex. I noticed that Lina hasn’t been doing reviews lately, so I thought that I may try it. It probably won’t be as good, but I’ll try.

Anywho! This episode starts off with Rex and Noah playing basketball, and Rex states that whoever makes the seguinte shot wins. He, shoots, and he misses.

Surprise, Surprise. I mean we all amor Rex, but he can’t make a basket to save his life.

Rex: Okay, whoever makes the seguinte shot is the all time champion.

Ahh, classic Rex. Anyways, Rex is about to make a shot when he gets a call on his little communicator. He leaves to take care of a level 2 threat near him, completely blowing off Noah. But Noah comes back with an awesome line

Noah: You can lose now, you can lose later. Doesn’t matter to me.

ROFL! One of my favorito lines!

Noah and Rex are heading down the street, biding their time, talking about how Rex won’t accept that Noah is better at him than something. Hello, Level 2 EVO on the loose!

Thankfully, Noah brings up this little detail. Rex just comments on how it’s just level 2, won’t be a problem.

Rex: Oh, yeah, that’s right. The lower the number, the worse the threat. You know, they really should change that.

And the battle ensues! Rex gets knocked on his tush, so the red shirts have to come in and distract the EVO while Rex comes back to his senses. After Rex knocks the fiery dud to the ground, a red camisa launches an electric net over the EVO, almost stopping it in its tracks. Rex hits it over the head with a frying pan for good measure. Pretty fast take down for a level 2 EVO.

Being a nice guy, the red camisa goes over to thank Rex for conking him out. But Rex, being the person we all know and love, completely blows it off and throws him the frying pan, making a smart remark.

Of course, the red camisa takes off his mask and confronts Rex about it.

Ranting time! Okay, how many times have we seen the red shirts without their masks? Almost none! So this is a special treat. Okay, ranting time over.

The red camisa comments on how Rex defeats the EVOs por just popping out a giant sword. Another one, again without the mask, tells him that he could never do what they do.

Of course, Rex has to be a bit of a jerk about, essentially saying that all the red shirts do is tell everybody to get back while Rex does all the work.

The red shirts laugh, saying he won’t last a week in their Basic training. And what guy can’t resist a challenge?

Res shouts a line about an EVO eating brains as the red shirts walk away. Noah comes up to him, which gives Rex a perfect chance to rant at Noah about what they said.

Low and behold, Noah agrees with them. And he has to add in the line about him being able to handle it, but Rex not so much.

Theme song break!

The two of course make some competition out of it, seeing who can last longest at Basic. The two end up in Basic training, where they are given a tour of Basic Training.

In one room, the cadets are actually studying Rex’s battles. Rex has to go all proud about it, boasting to Noah. This little scene quickly turns on him, as it turns out they were studying on avoiding his complete blunders. Ouch.

And of course, Noah makes a comment. He always makes funny comments to make people laugh. It’s practically his job.

After a tour of Basic, they are taken to their room and placed under the care of cadet Karyn Jones. Rex makes a comment about how he’s nice.

Jones: He always is. On the first day.

There’s a bit of dialogue between the characters, in which they find out about the stone steps, a flight of stair that all quitting cadets must walk down instead of taking a
Jump Jet.

Rex thinks it’s going to be a piece of cake. That thought shatters when the man who led them on the tour himself wakens both him and Noah at 12:01 A.M.

A bit of a montage happens next, using Rex’s and Noah’s torturous time at Basic. From breaking the chin up bar, to spitting on the floor por accident and being told to put it back in their mouths, they are not having a good time.

Eventually, Rex just breaks. He starts at the commander; knocking the gun he was working on off of the table. The gun fires, trapping both Rex and Noah to the wall. They ask for help, but just get laughed at por the other cadets.

The two decide to give up, and are about to take the first step down the stone steps, when their stupid bet comes back into play. They both end up staying.

Mr. Commander comes por and tells them to get some shuteye (that rhymed!) because seguinte week won’t be as easy.

And on comes the Pain week. 5 solid days and nights of pure training, no breaks to sleep or eat. During this time, they must safely crash land planes, dissect EVOs, and do many other things.

One aleatório man quits, another is sent to the Cage, where they must fight an EVO that has been previously captured por Rex. The man can’t take it, and his sent to the steps.

Later, everybody is leitura Providence rankings. Karyn watches as her ranking goes from #1 to #3, all because of Noah and Rex. Rex goes out to talk to her and tells her that he’s not there to bring her down, he’s only there to beat Noah at something. After Kenwyn storms away from him, Mr. Commander tells him it’s his turn for the Cage.

While Rex is prepping for the Cage, Karyn is in the control area. She punches a button, which powers down this colar around the EVO that limits its powers. Not as nice as we thought she was.

Turns out, the EVO is the same one that Rex defeated at the beginning of the episode, who I have given the name of fogo dude. Finding out that Rex already defeated fogo dude once, M. Commander sends him to something else. It’s Karyn’s turn at the Cage. Looks like that plan backfired.

Long story short, she goes in, colar breaks off fogo dude, he lets all the EVOS go, which then precede to lay waste to Basic. Noah and others retrieve Karyn from the Cage, while Rex fights with huge EVO from a while ago.

The big guy falls on the Cage, and all the EVOs escape por climbing him. A long fight scene happens, in which Karyn discovers what being a red camisa means.

Karyn tried to fight a giant rhino like EVO, which tramples her to the ground. The others surround her and she confesses about the collars. This is when we get to see nice Rex.

Rex: Forget it. Sometimes when you want to be number one bad enough, it can make your brain stop working.

Wow, strangely deep for Rex. Anyways, Noah and Rex call of the competition, making it a tie. Together, they all defeat the EVOs and put them back where they belong, which isn’t shown.

At a medal ceremony, Karyn tries to tell Mr. Commander that she released the EVOs, but Rex stops her por saying that they all know that she saved the day, she doesn’t need to boast about it. Again, really nice Rex here. Maybe Basic did change him.

Anyways, Mr. Commander actually admits that he as wrong about Rex and Noah. Rex wouldn’t be able to survive, but Noah might. The episode ends with Rex and Noah hitting the steps, talking about training. Rex knows he won’t ever do it again, but Noah might.

Well, this episode didn’t have really anything about the Pack or Rex’s past, but it was a pretty good episode. The only thing that would have made it better was adding in Six and Holiday.

Well, there you go. I hope my review was as good as Lina Trinch’s past reviews. This is me, signing off!
