The picnic had reminded her of a funeral. It had been very quiet ( with the exception of a very very vain Donte' talking of him self and nothing else.) His mother had tried to converse with her, but Donte' had interrupted her at every turn he could. She could tell that his mother was getting very irritated with him and so was she....
"So Gabrielle, what do you think of this lovely weather we have been having lately? I for one just adore it....." she had started to have small talk with her then..
"Well i just hate it because humidity makes my hair a mess and you know how i feel about that.. And speaking of messes, what is up with your hair dear? Did the cavalos in the stables do it for you?" he questioned, rudely, looking at her with his violent green eyes.
"No." she replied as calmly as she could. My maid did the very best she could, and the wind may have damaged it. I'm very sorry if my hair has disturbed you." She thought the last remark may have been just a tad bit unladylike, but she did not care.
"Well my dear you MUST come to my início sometime so it may be done correCt." he replied putting much to much emphasis on the 'c'. "Fine then, maybe someday i will." Or NOT. she thought to herself. I BELIEVE my hair looks juSST fine. She hissed in side her mind.
His mother tried to change the conversation with all her will..
"Well dears I just cannot wait til the wedding. I'd amor to help to pick out the dress.." OH GOD. The wedding... Hell in church was the only was she could describe it at the moment. If she had mais time she probably could have thought of something nicer but stuck with that.
"Oh yes, the dress." It was probably the only thing she was exited for. They left in a small group but their início was closer and she now walked alone. She new that he was much to vain to even amor his mothers enough to let her talk about things she wanted to.. If they ever had children.. or if he'd let her have children, she hoped to god that they would not be that vain and selfish, because then she would just not know what to do. She got início and her father was waiting at the door for her to come início and as she walked through the door he walked over to her slowly, but surly excited, he asked, "How was the picnic, my lovely dear? I hope it was okay. because I heard that you had a seizure at the park and i hope he and his mother did not see that...." he asked because they did not know she had them.
Her own father had them betrothed when she was 6 years old because Donte's family had the most money and the biggest início right after the royal family..He had hoped they got a long and feel in amor so it seemed they we're getting married for amor and not money but it didn't go that way and they really where getting married just for the money, so why bother?
"The picnic was just fine. The dia was lovely and... and..... . I HATE HIM SO MUCH!!!!!!" she blew up. She couldn't stand it any longer.
"Now now dear... Do not be like that.. Donte' is.... a..... very.....lo..vely boy...." She could tell how hard that was to say. she could not even think that. Her father must be the strongest man on earth, for she knew that not even his mother could say that.
She walked up to her room a plopped down a the canopy bounced up and down because of the weight. And for the first time ever, she had to seizures in on dia and it was wonderful.......
