After the decision to stay in the pageant was made, margarida went into the dressing-room to try on some out-fits and insisted that Minnie come watch her. Scrooge sat down outside the fitting-rooms. Then he looked over at Webby and noticed that she looked very unhappy. “What’s the matter darling?” He asked. “I thought you said you wanted to stay in pageant.”
She sighed, “It’s not that. It’s those mean things that Victoria and her mommy keep saying about us.”
