A Hopeful Future

KataraLover I really need to explain some background on the inspiration behind this picture. You see, Disney released a novel several years back called Fairest of All: Tale of the Wicked Queen by Serena Valentino that gave more of a backstory for the Evil Queen from Disney's Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and how she became the way she was. You'll find this hard to believe, but she absolutely loved and adored both Snow White and her father (Both of whom felt the same way about her). I also love how unlike the disaster that was Maleficent starring Angelina Jolie (Who was perfect casting, despite the terrible script), they don't make her the good guy in the end and she isn't 100% the victim. They showed how she became the cruel and wicked woman she is in the movie. They didn't care if things didn't end up happy for her! They cared about telling a backstory that actually feels like a legit and believable backstory. This picture is inspired by the wedding scene from the novel where she and the King got married. I wanted her to look as innocent and pure as possible here. I mean, after all, it is her wedding day lol. However, also to show the irony of things to come. I really loved how she turned out. She has makeup that is A LOT more natural looking, her hair is loose, she's smiling and looks happy, I ADORE her dress, and the veil looks amazing. I used Anne Marie from All Dogs Go to Heaven to create Snow White as a little girl but made enough changes to where it doesn't look exactly like Anne Marie with a different outfit and look more like how Snow White would. The King was hard for me to do and was the most boring to make but I'm happy with it. I hope you guys like it and let me know what you think. Enjoy!
