I’ve been mulling this over for quite a while; what’s the point of composição literária this artigo other than to voice my opinion about well… my favorito princesses? Maybe why I’m still typing is due to the fact that almost every active member has his or her own article. Considering I recently upgraded to a dedicated fan, I’ve decided that yes; I absolutely do need a favorito disney princess list. However, note that this list is subject to change, hence the term "temporary". So, over the course of two months, I was busy watching disney princess filmes for what seemed like a hundred times until I think I created a solid list...for now.

9. Pocahontas

No, there’s nothing particularly wrong with Pocahontas; I just find her extremely dull. I watched her movie recently, just for the joy of… well… watching disney filmes (Is there really another reason for watch disney movies?). I really wanted to amor Pocahontas, I really did. But after she saw the English men arrive in Virginia, she turned all tree-hugger, trying to preach this stranger about earth. She sees a man that obviously is completely different than her people, and she treats the situation like it’s the norm; the voice actress provides no excitement to liven Pocahontas even a little. Take no offense please; I amor árvore huggers, but this girl was the most boring environmentalist I have ever seen in my life. I can’t say I despise Poca though; I admire her loyalty to her people, and her courage. She’s also stunning in looks.

8. Tiana

When I watched The Princess and the Frog the first time, I was thoroughly disappointed; maybe because I was expecting much mais than it delivered. Naveen and charlotte were the only characters that were interesting. Tiana, although I hate to say it because I think she is such a sweet character, was uptight and un-fun (is that even a word… well it went por my spell check). I certainly respect Tiana por all means; she works hard to get what she wants and she loves her family. I envy her ambition in life as well. The reason she sunk low in the pack was because I didn’t find her the least bit engaging, but unlike Pocahontas, she wasn’t a stick in the mud.

7. Jasmine

jasmim is completely overrated in my opinion. She’s not that special; in fact, she’s just a slutty spoiled princess. She doesn’t work towards her goals, she doesn’t care about her family; the only thing she seems to do is whine all dia and night. She lives in a glamorous palace with servants tending to her every need; and she thinks for some reason, she deserves better. So she runs away and almost gets her hands chopped off, only to return início and sulk. You’re right, I’m not giving her nearly as much credit as she deserves. I absolutely amor Jasmine’s character traits. She’s extremely sassy, stubborn, and she just doesn’t take crap from anybody. So other than the fact this girl looks like E.T., she is one cool chick.

6. Ariel

Oh Ariel. She’s jumped around the most on this list. When I joined fanpop, I could think nothing negative about her, but as the Ariel vs. Belle phase seemed to take over the spot, I felt compelled to hear the reasoning of why anyone could dislike even one of these two popular princesses. Maybe talking to fhghu and ppv influenced me to drop this girl a couple spaces lower, or maybe it was because I really did realize that Ariel was not that great. She’s headstrong, determined, and has this abstract romantic fantasia that she could use her “body language” to make a guy she’s been lusting after fall in amor with her in three days. Farfetched, but Ariel has this mindset that she can achieve anything; which is why I like her. On topo, início of that, she has the quintessential teenager attitude towards life, which can be a major turn off for people, but I happen to like it. Now to point out why she’s lower than she used to be. I always knew Ariel had flaws, but I didn’t analyze them until I joined fanpop. Ariel is selfless and puts not only her life in danger but others as well. On topo, início of that, she lusts after a man she’s never even got to know about. And I’m not calling Ariel stupid, God forbid, but she doesn’t make the smartest moves, like basically giving up her life to Ursula for an unreasonable deal.

5. Cinderella

I never appreciated cinderela before; I thought she was just another damsel in distress that somehow managed to get a perfect fairytale in the end. It wasn’t until I rewatched the movie that I understood how smart Cindy was. cinderela didn’t leave her stepfamily, not because she didn’t have a backbone, but because there would be nowhere else for her to go. She is also incredibly patient, something that I applaud her for. Think about it, she lives with this evil stepfamily, is forced to do all the work in the house, and how many times did she have an emotional meltdown? Twice: when her dress was torn and when she was locked in the tower. She has this dreamer quality that is very likable and is also pretty optimistic; I doubt anyone else (besides Snow White) would even think of waking up in a positive attitude and cantar a song about dreams coming true while in Lady Tremaine’s household.

4. Aurora

Aurora’s the one princess that I was instantly drawn to since the moment I first saw the movie. Aurora and me. amor at first sight. Maybe I’m a little biased on this one since I absolutely amor Audrey Hepburn, and Aurora’s looks were based off hers. But other than that, Aurora has the grace and poise that I am so jealous of, and I guess she can be characterized as the stereotypical princess. She has a lovely dreamer quality just like Cindy as well. And although it may be controversial and frowned upon in today’s society, I think it’s absolutely romantic that she met, danced, and sang with her amor interest in the woods.

3. Snow White

Even with the amount of popularity Snow White is slowly gaining, I can tell that some people are giving me virtual evil looks from their computers. Snow White? Why her? I amor Snow White, and although she wasn’t always this high, now I can’t think of putting her anywhere lower than my topo, início three. She’s optimistic even with her living circumstances throughout the movie, and like other princesses, she dreams about meeting her prince. I remember seeing princesslullaby write something about Snow White being able to handle a break up the most positively, and I couldn’t agree more. When Snow White ran away, she didn’t mope about not seeing the prince. She was bubbly and ecstatic throughout the whole movie. I can understand why someone would think Snow was less intelligent than some of the other princesses (maybe for wandering into a stranger’s início or eating an maçã, apple from an old hag) but that’s just part of her friendly personality and what makes her an incrível character.

2. Mulan

mulan is the definite symbol of feminism. She’s hardcore, kickass, and just straight-out awesome. Awesome is not nearly enough to describe her. Unlike a certain princess, mulan loves her father to pieces, she took his place to fight in the war, even though she knew that she would be executed if anyone found out. She knew that she had a big chance of ending up dead on a battlefield. She absolutely one hundred percent knew every single risk that came with her decision; yet, she still did it for her father. Not only that, but this girl is legit tough. Shang sent her início because she wasn’t strong enough, and she proved that boy wrong. She climbed up that 100-foot pole and she did it with “strength” and “discipline”. I cannot even express my adoration and admiration for this girl.

1. Belle

What a surprise, I’m pretty sure a lot of you already knew this por now, but for those who didn’t… tada! Belle is my absolute favorito princess, and it’s been that way since forever. And despite popular belief, I do believe Belle is flawed. She wandered into the West Wing even though she was told not to go, she has ambitions in life that she doesn’t pursue. However, I do think she probably has the best personality traits than any other princess. Belle is kind, smart, witty, and stubborn.
Unlike Ariel, Belle loves her father and even sacrificed her life for him (like Mulan). She became the Beast’s prisoner and that not only showed her selflessness but also her bravery. Not only that, but she fell in amor with a person with a revolting appearance because she looked past his exterior and was able to see what really mattered. She is probably the best role model for anyone and I envy how well put and lovely of a person she is. This is what makes her my favorito disney princess.

To start Mary-Sue is thrown around not only on the disney Princess club, but almost everywhere whenever it comes down to the disney Princesses. The correct definition to Mary-Sue is a perfect female character who doesn't try to be perfect, but naturally is. Like a Renaissance Man, yet doesn't fail at least while trying.
Some have been saying Classics, or Walt Disney's princesses, Belle and Rapunzel are Mary-Sues, plus more. I very much disagree.

The most common areas to be considered Mary-Sues are:
Snow White
Cinderella
Aurora
Ariel (on the occasion)
Belle
Rapunzel

There are so many reasons they...

It looks like everybody has done a list with the favourites scenes so I decided to make one too. I haven't included Frozen - Uma Aventura Congelante because there are still many people that haven't seen it. Anyway, enjoy!

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
Ending Scene

I'm not sure about my choice because the last time I saw the movie I was 6 years old, so... Anyway, the animation is stunning when they walk away and you see the castle. I find that scene very romantic and sweet and I believe that Snow White totally deserves her happy ending.

Cinderella
So this is love

Soo romantic! I amor the animation and the atmosphere...

As I was creating my ícones for Team Merida, I realised exactly why I loved this girl. As a result, I decided to write an artigo with 5 reasons why everybody should amor Merida/Brave

1. Valente was the first pixar film that had a female protagonist.

Pixar is a hugely successful company, but it took about 8 years since they first started making films for them to make a movie where the main character was a girl. Before Valente was made, I was slightly annoyed at pixar - most of it's films didn't even pass the Bechdel test. I amor Valente because it finally featured an awesome female character.

What do you mean it took 8 years to have a female protagonist? That's so dumb!
What...
