I finally had the time to sit down and really think about what my favorito Princess filmes are. It was NOT easy! I amor all of these films. They are all filled with wonderful songs, lovely characters, and great plots. I amor them all, there's just some I enjoy mais than others. With that being said, here's my lineup!

9. Sleeping Beauty
Not in death, but just in sleep, this fateful prophecy you'll keep. And from this slumber you shall wake, when true love's kiss, the spell shall break.
Not in death, but just in sleep, this fateful prophecy you'll keep. And from this slumber you shall wake, when true love's kiss, the spell shall break.

This film is truly a work of art. It's carefully and beautifully drawn, and has a romantic soundtrack. It just seems to drag on in certain parts, and can be a bit boring. Not to mention that Princess Aurora has very little screen time. For the most part, she's sleeping! I amor how it ends though, with her and Prince Phillip dancing their way to their very own happily ever after.

8. The Princess and the Frog
My dream wouldn't be complete... without you in it.
My dream wouldn't be complete... without you in it.

I honestly wasn't thrilled when this movie came out, and I'm not really sure why. After it came out on DVD I basically wanted to see what the fuss was about. I thought to myself "theres no WAY this could be in the same category as the other Princess films". Well, I was wrong! It's not my all time favorito or anything, but it's a really good movie. And come on...it gave us Prince Naveen...we should ALL be thankful this movie came out!!

7. Mulan
The greatest gift and honor... is having you for a daughter.
The greatest gift and honor... is having you for a daughter.

I don't see how anyone could not like this movie...it's such an epic film. mulan is definitely one of a kind, not like any other Princess. One of my favorito things about her, is that she keeps her family first. She's also very clumsy, which is easy for me to relate too, because I'm always tripping and falling, or stubbing my toe. This mover fascinates me each time I see it. She never ceases to amaze me with her courage and her dedication to bring honor to her family.

6. Aladdin
No matter what anyone else says, you'll always be a prince to me.
No matter what anyone else says, you'll always be a prince to me.

I quickly became obsessed with this movie when it came out. It's such an exciting movie, with lots of comedy, magic, romance and really great songs. I amor the sassy Princess Jasmine. Some may call her a bitch, but I call her a WOMAN...come on..we're all bitches at times, you know it. But I don't think she's a bitch...people just assume that because she so freely speaks her mind. I wish I were mais like her in that sense.

5. Pocahontas
No matter what happens to me, I'll always be with you, forever.
No matter what happens to me, I'll always be with you, forever.

This one is definitely different than any other Princess film. There's no Fairy Godmother, Knight in shining armour, or glass slipper here. Which may be the reason people dont like it...because it lacks all the things we relate with a Princess. I have always loved this movie. Pocahontas is the prettiest Princess, I think. She is utterly ravishing! What makes me amor this movie is the relationship between Pocahontas and John Smith. Their amor appears mais realistic than some of the others. And of course the end is one of the most bittersweet endings of all time.

4. Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
Someday my Prince will come...Someday we'll meet again...
Someday my Prince will come...Someday we'll meet again...

This movie used to be much lower on my list, but I watched it not too long atrás and forgot how much I loved it. Snow White is simply adorable. I amor all of the dwarfs, especially Grumpy and Bashful; they've always been my favorites. I amor their sweet little cottage. Even though I amor how Snow White gets her happy ending with the Prince of her dreams, I can't help but to feel like she should've stayed with the Dwarfs...they really amor her, and she just up and leaves them for a guy that sang to her once, and then kissed what he thought was her dead corpse! But, all in all it's a spectacular film.

3. The Little Mermaid
What would i give to live where you are? What would I pay to stay here beside you? What would I do to see you smiling at me?
What would i give to live where you are? What would I pay to stay here beside you? What would I do to see you smiling at me?

I amor this movie mais each time I watch it. I almost don't even know where to start! I adore Ariel...she's one of my favorito Princesses. She's brave, spunky, loving, sweet, and just adorable. One of my favorito scenes is when she sees Eric for the very first time. The look on that sweet innocent face is just...priceless. The characters are funny, the scenery is beautiful, and the música is just the best. All around, you simply can't miss with this movie!

2. Beauty and the Beast
No it can't be, I'll just ignore, but then she's never looked at me that way before.
No it can't be, I'll just ignore, but then she's never looked at me that way before.

I can't tell you how many times I begged my parents to take me to the movie theatre when this came out. We must have gone 6 times. And I pretty much wore the video tape out from watching it a hundred times a dia when it came out on video. But now, as an adult, I still enjoy watching it. Not because it makes me feel like a little girl again, but because of the romance. It's such a beautiful amor story. Belle is my #2 favorito Princess, and the Beast is my #1 favorito Prince. I still cry at the end, even though I've seen it a million times por now and I KNOW how it ends, but Belle is just so heartbroken I just can't help myself. The musical is coming in my area at the end of the ano and I can't wait to see it! I never got a chance the last time it was here (back in 1999!). This really is the most beautiful amor story ever told.

1. Cinderella
No matter how your coração is grieving...
No matter how your coração is grieving...

This probably won't surprise those of you who know me very well! It's a well known fact that she is my favorito Princess, and her movie is also my favorito disney movie. For my 4th birthday, my wishlist was: cinderela Video, Superstar Barbie, Oopsy margarida Baby, and a fishing pole. I got everything I wanted, including the movie. I wish I was able to upload the video from that party of me opening that present. I was so excited, I was literally laughing and crying at the same time. Back then you couldn't buy the movie, you could only rent it. But the video store we constantly rented it from finally told my Mom she could just have it...we were the only ones who rented it anyways! A few months after my birthday I went to disney World for the first time. Thus the obsession became even worse! Seeing cinderela castelo in person pretty much did me in for life. I'm hooked. But back to the movie...I adore Cinderella...she's pretty, she's sweet and kind no matter what kind of shit is thrown her way, and never stops believing in her dreams. Everytime I watch that movie, I feel like that excited 4 ano old all over again.
 If you keep on believing...
If you keep on believing...
The dreams that you wish will come true!
The dreams that you wish will come true!
"It's about to be a girl fight!"
"It's about to be a girl fight!"
First of all I want to make it clear that I think both are amazing characters and I amor them to death. I'm going to keep an open mind about both of them when comparing them. They both have things that they did better than the other. So who's the better character? We'll just have to see.

What they have in common
I think it's fair to first mention what they have in common. They're both redheads, adventurous, curious, wild, whiny, selfish, have parent issues, rebellious, brave, heroic, free-spirited, make deals with witches, and of course cause a big mess with all their mistakes. Let's also not...

I'm bored on fanpop, haven't written anything myself in ages (sorry, still working on my favoritos list!) so here's a cliché looks list for you guys to enjoy or totally hate. ;) Elsa and Anna included.

13. Merida.

I think Merida's eyes look good in some shots like in this pic. In others, she looks rather scary (like Chuckie, if you've read my old Prettiest list). If she had mais defined lashes and maybe a less circular shape I'd have her higher. I don't think they're bad eyes; I just prefer the others.

 Wide, innocent, and sky-blue

12. Ariel.

I'm still trying to decide if Ariel's should...

♥ Please note: I did not just think of looks, I only chose actors/actresses who have impressed me with their screen-presence and charisma. Some of them are choices that don't necessarily look the part as much as alternative choices, but these casting decisions would be the most successful and intriguing to me personally. My choices were based on a blend of atuação skills, appearance, voice, and current age in 2011. ♥

Gabriella Wilde as AURORA

Tom Welling as ERIC

Avan Jogia as ALADDIN

Shay Mitchell as POCAHONTAS

Nina Dobrev as BELLE

Lainie Kazan as URSULA

Remember those great romantic moments that were imbued with pure disney magic and have since become timeless keepsakes: how we got to experience amor at 1st sight with cinderela as she waltzed away with Prince Charming into a blessed starry nightscape; the anticipation we held on to when Prince Eric leaned in to kiss Ariel as they floated along a spellbinding lagoon; the way Lady's eyes gleamed under the Bella Notte as Tramp gazed into them over a candlelit espaguete jantar for two; how our breathes were taken as Eugene finally saw Rapunzel surrounded por the lanterns of her dreams on Corona's...

Everyone has their personal ranking of their favorito disney Princessess n thoughts of who should b included. In my eyes, this is the ranking of the maidens from the house of mouse:

15. Aurora, indeed the sleeping beauty is beautiful, elegant, n has a heavenly opera voice, unfortunately she has little agency in her own story n personality.

14. Anna, a spunky n cute go getter but most of the other princesses that have come before her have these traits checked off too.

13. Moana, a real cookie cutter of a modern disney princess, she is pretty much just an ethnic variation of Anna but is ahead one...

Pocahontas is one of those disney films that, despite being middle-of-the-road for me, I have to rewatch fairly often. Something about this movie intrigues me. Maybe it's because I want to like the movie mais than I currently do and understand why some fãs revere it. I might not be there quite yet after this most recent rewatch, but I'm narrowing in on what specific things I like and dislike about the film. Now's the time to share those thoughts.

Praises
1) The backgrounds in this movie aren't just beautiful. THEY'RE GORGEOUS. The subtle lines, the designs, and especially the rich as cores are...

I don't really like Lindsay Ellis at all but I never thought I'd see the dia where I agree with her on something and she'd have a video that perfectly sums up my issues with disney in recent years.

I was watching her Beauty and the Beast 2017 review and she was basically complaining about how years of whiny, nitpicky nobodies on the internet like you and me going on and on about "stereotype" this and "problematic" that regarding disney filmes has pretty much resulted in the hot bunda messes modern disney films are today. How the BatB remake is a terrible adaptation of the OG film and it's contribution...

Thanks for tuning in to the segundo artigo of the series, Snow White's favorito princess list. If you haven't already, please go read link.
6 years atrás I did these artigos as well, so you are welcome to go check out my old opinion on Snow White's rankings link.
Disclaimer: None of us will ever know truly what Snow White's favorito princess list would be. However, being on fanpop for 9 years, I find myself heavily invest in disney Princesses and I did my best to parse out how I think Snow White would rank the princesses. She's an interesting one to dissect since I think she would amor all the...
