Dungeons & dragões (or D&D for short) is a super fun tabletop, mesa roleplaying game that's been around since the 1970s but has recently gained a fair bit of popularity. I've been playing the game for around eight years at time of writing, and I strongly recommend you give it a try if you ever get the chance. It's really an absolute blast! D&D has always been one of my favorito hobbies, but within the last two years it's become an even bigger part of my life. Since I've been having so much fun with it recently, I decided it was finally time to try something I'd always wanted to do: turning the disney Princesses into D&D characters.

Over the last ano I've been slowly creating D&D characters based off of the DPs, and I spent so much time on them that I really wanted to share them here. I'll be posting a series of articles, one for each DP, in which I explain why I chose the classes, subclasses, etc. for each princess, and share the backstory I wrote for each. I'll also be crossposting these artigos to the D&D club. All the characters will be level 3 to ensure that they all have a chosen subclass. Sourcebooks used to build these characters include the Player's Handbook, Volo's Guide to Monsters, Xanathar's Guide to Everything, and Tasha's Cauldron of Everything.

Since I expect many of you here don't play D&D or maybe even haven't heard of it, I'll begin with the backstory I wrote since you might find that the most interesting. Below the backstory you'll find the mais nitty gritty stats of the characters. Anything written in italics is an author's note explaining my reasoning behind certain character choices.

Rapunzel

Human Druid - círculo of Wildfire / Background - Hermit

This is definitely my most controversial decision of any of DP's classes. Yes, I made Rapunzel a druid: powerful spellcasters who are one with the natural world, and often considered the tree-hugging hippies of D&D. But Punz is one of the least nature connected DPs, especially when compared with the likes of Poca or Rose, so why did I make her a druid? It all has to do with how magic works in D&D. The kind of spellcaster you are depends on where you get your magic. Bards draw their magic from their music, clerics are granted divine magic from the god they worship, sorcerers are born with inexplicable powers passed down through their bloodline, etc. And druids? Druids draw their power from nature itself. Where does Rapunzel get her healing powers? A flower, which in turn got its powers from the sun, the driving force of all nature. Therefore, Rapunzel is a druid. I rest my case. I gave her the círculo of Wildfire subclass because it has powerful healing spells along with spells of fogo and light, and since her powers come from the sun, a literal blazing ball of fire, I thought it was fitting. I gave her the hermit background because, even though she was born a princess, she was raised in a tower completely isolated from the outside world.

Backstory

Backstories have been created with a combination of the stories from the films and rolling randomly on the aleatório tables in the "This Is Your Life" section of Xanathar's Guide to Everything, which is why some of these backstories have some wild things that really come out of left field lol.

I was born to queen Arianna and King Frederic of Corona. I am their only child, but was born with strange healing abilities thanks to a magical herb my mother had consumed during her pregnancy. I was little mais than a few hours old when I was stolen from within the palace walls por Gothel, a women who desired to keep my healing powers for herself. I believed she was my mother for my whole childhood. She spirited me away to a secluded tower deep in the forest, and never allowed me to go into the outside world. We lived a comfortable life there, but I was always curious and desired to see mais of the world. I spent my childhood alone, with no close friends besides the wildfire spirit Pascal who took the form of a chameleon. I filled my days with as many hobbies as I could, constantly searching for a sense of satisfaction but always feeling like I would only find it outside the tower's walls. When I was 18, a handsome thief who called himself Flynn Rider happened upon my tower, and with his help I snuck out and was finally able to explore. I was dazzled por the outside world, and began to fall for my charming guide, whose real name turned out to be Eugene Fitzherbert. During this time I learned of my true parentage, and denounced Gothel.

My parents were overjoyed to finally have me back after so many years, and I was excited to begin a new life with them. Unfortunately, my lack of experience with the outside world was glaringly obvious, and after a time I asked their permission to let me explore mais of the world beyond our kingdom, to try and learn as much as I possibly could. With their blessing, I set out deep into the forest with Pascal as my only companion.

A few days into my journey I made camp in a copse of teixo trees on the bank of a sacred river. While I was building my campfire, an injured falcão landed in one of the branches above my head. I coaxed it down and was able to easily heal it. To my surprise, it then spoke to me. He introduced himself as simply Bird, and offered a channel for the burning curiosity I had within me.

Over the seguinte several months, Bird instructed me in the ways of the druids. I know he has a humanoid form, though he never revealed it to me. I learned much from him, but at a certain point he felt that experience would be a better teacher for me than anything mais he might tell me. So I set off again, and spent some time amongst woodsmen and foresters, earning a bit of coin of my own. A dwarf woman, Delre, became a special friend of mine after I helped her get rid of a urso that had denned too close to her início for comfort, and she gifted me with a beautiful ornate brooch crafted por her grandmother. But recently I said goodbye to Delre and have begun to retrace my steps. I would like to see Eugene again, and I am worried about what Gothel may be up to. I feel that I need to spend mais time amongst civilization to gain an understanding of what my people will need from me.

Regardless, I keep a small bottle of water from the river where I learned my new craft, and teixo trees always remind me of renewing my mind and spirit, letting the old die and the new spring forth, as I have so recently done.

Yep, Gothel's still alive in this one hehe. And you can ignore anything that happens in Rapunzel's enrolados Adventure. I hadn't yet started watching it when I wrote this.

Character Stats

Level 3

STR -1 (9) DEX 0 (11) CON +2 (15) INT +1 (13) WIS +3 (16) CHA +2 (14)

I used the standard array to generate stats. I tried to assign them in a way that would allow for a strong D&D character while still remaining mostly true to the attributes of the character in the film.

HP 24
AC 13 (leather + shield)
Initiative 0
Speed 30 ft.

Saving throws: Int +3, Wis +5

Skills: Arcana +3, Medicine +5, Perception +5, Religion +3 (For her class skills I gave her Arcana and Perception. With her curious nature I think she would devour any information she could get her hands on about magic, and that moment in the movie when she noticed all the sun motifs in her own paintings was ridiculously perceptive. Medicine and Religion were granted por her background.)

Languages: Common, Druidic, Elvish, Gnomish (Her kingdom is near a forested area so it makes sense that her parents might expect her to learn Elvish once she'd returned to the kingdom. And I think Punzie'd just like the quirkiness of gnomes and might try to learn Gnomish in her spare time.)

Tools: Herbalism Kit, Painter's Supplies

Features and Traits

círculo Spells: You have formed a bond with a wildfire spirit, a primal being of creation and destruction. Your link with this spirit grants you access to some spells when you reach certain levels in this class, as shown on the círculo of Wildfire Spells table.

Spells

Modifier: +3
Spell attack: +5
Save DC: 13

Cantrips (at will): Guidance, Shillelagh
1st level (4 slots): Animal Friendship, Burning Hands, Cure Wounds, Entangle, Faerie Fire, Goodberry, Healing Word
2nd level (2 slots): Flaming Sphere, Lesser Restoration, Scorching Ray

Lol I gave her Entangle haha get it? Besides that I tried to give her as many healing spells as I could.

Actions

Club: +1 to hit, 1d4-1 bludgeoning damage

Summon Wildfire Spirit: As an action, you can expend one use of your Wild Shape feature to summon your wildfire spirit, rather than assuming a beast form. Each creature within 10 ft. of the spirit (other than you) when it appears must succeed on a DEX saving throw (DC:13) or take 2d6 fogo damage. The spirit manifests for 1 hour, until it is reduced to 0 hit points, until you summon the spirit again, or until you die.

Wild Shape: As an action, you can magically assume the shape of a beast that you have seen before twice per short rest. [2nd] Max CR 1/4 (no flying or swimming speed). You can stay in beast shape for 1 hours before reverting back to your normal form (or as a bonus action earlier or if you fall unconscious, drop to 0 hit points, or die).

Bonus Actions

Summon Wildfire Spirit: Command - In combat, the wildfire spirit shares your initiative count, but it takes its turn immediately after yours. The only action it takes on its turn is the Dodge action, unless you take a bonus action on your turn to command it to take one of the actions in its stat block or to take the Dash, Disengage, Help, or Hide action.
Armor Class: 13 (natural armor)
Speed: 30 ft., fly 30 ft. (hover)
Flame Seed: Ranged Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, range 60 ft., one target you can see. Hit: 1d6+2 fogo damage.
Fiery Teleportation: The spirit and each willing creature of your choice within 5 ft. of it teleport up to 15 ft. to unoccupied spaces you can see. Each creature within 5 ft. of the o espaço that the spirit left must succeed on a DEX saving throw (DC:13) or take 1d6+2 fogo damage.

That's it for Rapunzel! I hope you enjoyed reading. If you have any perguntas or opinions I'd amor to hear them in the comments! See you tomorrow with another princess~
I did say I was going to write natal related artigos here, but I've been wanting to write this one for a while, but I've been putting it off because I thought that pretty much everyone had the same list, but after thinking about it some parts of the list can variate from person to person though I believe that most of you will agree with my topo, início 5. Anyway this was por far the hardest list I've ever written, the topo, início 5 where settled in stone, but the rest where really hard to place. I based this on many aspects, but mostly on if the princess has both her parents alive, one parent alive or is...

My list hasn't changed all that much but I thought after rewatching aladdin I would write an updated list.

13. Merida- Not a fan, I'm all for female empowerment but I don't like her attitude. She is just so rude & I do not find her likeable.

12. Elsa- She just really bugs me. I can't think of any other reasons but she just aggravates me.

11. Anna- Not keen on her either. She is not as bad as the other two but I'm not a fan, moving on.

10. Tiana- She is too much of a workaholic. I get that she has dreams to run her own restaurant but she can have fun once in awhile.

9. Jasmine- jasmim has really...

Inspired por link, who did an amazing job(! <3), I really wanted to do my own version with favorito Openings. I actually really amor the original fairy tale concept of the disney Princesses and I amor the openings that give a mais magical and fairy tale kind of feel. (By the way, I am primarily trying to stick to the first 2-4 minutes.) So here is my ranking of the DP film openings, I hope you guys enjoy this light read! :D

12. Frozen: Frozen - Uma Aventura Congelante Heart/Ice Opening
I personally found this to be uninteresting and irrelevant to the film's magic, fairy tale and princesses (mostly) in the film. No explanation...

Trivia

1) Art director Brian McEntee color-keyed Belle so that she is the only person in her town who wears blue. This is symbolic of how different she is from everyone else around. Later, she encounters the Beast, another misfit, also wearing blue and with blue eyes. It symbolized good in the film whereas red symbolized evil (the color of Gaston's camisa is red). A notable exception to this code is Gaston's blue eyes - making him the only disney villain...

I amor art! I amor culture, history, música and I amor art. I have done some posts and pesquisas about the disney Princesses in reference to music, culture and fashion but not art yet so I thought I would do that next. I like to think of the disney Princesses as "cultured" young women who have manners, etiquette, decent universal knowledge and appreciation for the arts. So, in my theory of the disney Princesses being cultured, albeit each at their own levels, here are the paintings that I think each disney Princess would amor the most. (I could probably find a furgão, van Gogh for each of them as I absolutely...

Happy Halloween! After much thinking about this, I think I finally came up with another artigo that i'm sure would be interesting to talk about.

Everything lives in a balance. there can't be good without bad, light without darkness, etc etc...The dichtonomy of ying-yang and how they complement each other is a subject that I find fascinating to read about, and mostly to apply it to other things. Something interesting i noted is how often in disney the villains are pretty much the exact opposite of the heroes, but they often sometimes come from a same base. And in that base, they have much in...

I find majority of the DP filmes to be a bit scary, but that doesn't mean that it's impossible to make a list of the scariest movies, but it wasn't an easy list to do, but as usual I hope you'll enjoy this article

12. Cinderella

Okay so the bottom 3 are the only ones I'm really sure about and especially number 12, I mean do I even need to explain why it's last? But luckily it's there for a good reason, but despite being last it does have a few scary moments, but nowhere near as much as the filmes above

11. Frozen

This movie also lacks scary moments, but I placed it higher because it...

Because I am still in a musical mood but also ready for the "autumn/Halloween" mood, I'd like to incorporate the two! There aren't many DP villain songs no geral, global but I came up with at least 9 that were good enough to use for the sake of this countdown. I rated each of the songs against how villainous the lyrics were, how villainous the música sounds, how villainous the scene that accompanies the song in the film is and how villainous is the goal of the villain (or just the villain itself) cantar the song? I ranked each song in the 4 categories and then ranked them no geral, global por accumulative "evil"...

It is the mês of October which, in reference to DPs, definitely makes me think of the villains! Since I enjoy themes, October will have a "Halloween, Autumn, or Villain" theme in most of my posts. This one is going with Dia das bruxas & Villains! I still cannot add any fotografias to these artigos but I will be doing so as soon as possible. I only included the villains that I actually remember doing an "evil laugh" in their original film:

9. Governor Ratcliffe- Pocahontas: Not really an evil laugh, mais of a "bad person" laugh. Not too scary.

8. Lady Tremaine- Cinderella: Although it's evil,...

Props to link for posting the link When I came up with respostas for the 2nd question, favorito música or songs, I really liked them so I wanted to share them as an article.

Snow White- All You Need Is amor por The Beatles: Simple tune with a heartfelt message and catchy melody. Reminds me a lot of "A Smile and a Song".

oi everyone! So a really talented writer on this site had posed a pergunta about which princesses fit best as friends into friend groups. This made me very happy because I honestly think about this all the time (Disney Princess crossovers) so I was excited about the opportunity to read other fans' opinions. After leitura many people's opinions and putting careful thought into this, I believe I have come up with groups that best fit the personalities involved. I would amor to hear what you guys think, see if you agree or disagree and why so please feel free to leave detailed comments. Thanks!...

Okay so I know I got off on the wrong foot here with some users so I wanted to give a peace offering (to those who want it) por telling about myself so others will get the chance to understand me and see where I am coming from. This is my attempt to:

Since I'm being so villainous, it seemed like an appropriate time to share MY OPINIONS on DP filmes villains and rank them in order. (Joke intended :D)

So here goes:

1. Maleficent:
with her one nasty evil stroke, she set the stage, She didn't dabble in small time efforts. Her character is the most alluring and unique. She was a fairy, but an evil one. She has the aura of an enchantress. I loved her confidence when she took the stage while casting out the spell.
The best villainy traits: downright evil, need no disguise, doesn't flaunt but does every act confidently and with most style.

2. Mother...
