Ariel had learned that humans are dangerous, but she still pursued the danger and fell in amor with Eric after she saved him. Here is the problem. ARIEL KNEW IT WAS DANGEROUS. But Ariel did it anyway, which could be a bad example for young children. I'm not a teacher, but doing something you know is dangerous is very bad behavior.

Ariel accepted the risk. Ursula did something no villain has ever done and explained everything to Ariel, leaving it up to her to accept or not.
