Yet another Mary Sue test. This time, it's Esmeralda. She's very similar to Belle, who scored surprisingly low. Let's see if she's as perfect on the inside as she is on the outside.

Unique traits without contacts or hair dye- Sort of. Green eyes aren't impossible in WOC, but they are mais unique, and her eyes are drawn in a very striking and eye-catching way. Though it is just to justify her name. .5
An odd name- 'Esmeralda' is definitely a unique (though also very pretty) name. 1.
Looks constantly commented on- Yes. She even uses her appearance as a weapon. 1.
Always the hero- No, she has to be saved por Quasimodo a few times.
Multiple characters falling for her- Definitely. Frollo, Quasimodo, and Phoebus. 1.
Gets into the relationships she wants- No, her relationship with Phoebus definitely wasn't one of her main goals.
No flaws or any flaws addressed or called out on- Yes. Like many other DPs, Esmeralda's sassiness and feistiness is seen as cool and badass, and she doesn't have any other flaws. 2.
Seen as perfect/angelic in everyone's eyes- No, only in Quasimodo's eyes. Phoebus doesn't and Frollo definitely doesn't, and everyone else discriminates against her.
Always loved and trusted without earning it- No. Quasimodo loves her cause she's the first person to show him kindness, and Phoebus only loves her after a while.
amor and trust from closed-off characters- No. Frollo doesn't amor her and objectifies her, and Quasimodo isn't really closed-off, though Phoebus does eventually fall for her.
Other characters degraded for her sake- Yes, the guards. They're portrayed as weak and incompetent to make her look cool when she escapes from them. 1.
A rival to make her look good- Yes, Frollo. While not specifically her rival, she stands up to him when standing up for Quasimodo and shows she's mais noble, moral, and kind. 1.
Never fails- No. Esmeralda failed at avoiding being captured, escaping the sino tower por herself, and saving herself from Frollo.
Never injured- Nope, she was injured a few times and fell unconscious from inhaling smoke.
Always praised and rewarded without earning it- Not really. Everything Esmeralda was praised for, she earned it.
Unrealistically skilled/powerful- No. While she is able to escape the guards, she gets caught por them eventually (plus she's been training on the streets her entire life), and needs to be saved por Quasimodo at the end.
Always figures things out- Yes. She figured out how to escape from the guards, how to heal Phoebus, and gave him a map to the Festival of Fools. 1.
Kind but deadly- That's most of Esmeralda's personality. 1.
Tragic backstory- Yes. Discriminated against and objectified, lives on the streets, called a gypsy and evil. 1.
Skilled in a wide variety of things- No, only dancing and magic tricks.
Contradictory traits- No, Esmeralda's traits were pretty consistent.
Always gets what she wants- The only thing she wanted wasn't for herself, but for equality for her people, which they did get in the end. .5
Rarely shows negative emotions- No, she gets angry quite often and even sings a whole song where she's quiet and sad.
A resurrection- No, but I'm adding half a point for her waking up after falling unconscious. .5

That's 11 out of 24. Wow, the same amount as Belle. They really are similar. She does fit the biggest trait, no flaws, but she doesn't fit other traits like loved por everyone without earning it and seen as perfect por everyone. Rapunzel is still the biggest Sue. She's actually quite a big Sue, not a mild one like I said in her test (which was the first one).
Aladdin: So here we were, early 1990's, and the disney Renaissance was at its peek. The studios had produced two of the highest grossing animated films of all time and still were pushing on. However the team suffered a tragic loss with the death of lyricist Howard Ashman who surprisingly had had a large amount of creative input on the anterior two films. (He named Ariel) It was even his idea to make the seguinte disney animated feature, Aladdin released on November 25, 1992. However, much to the disappointment of many, this would be the last picture to showcase a royal fairytale princess for the...

Snow White

■In The Muppets at Walt disney World, Snow White was the disney character who had the biggest part in the story, besides Mickey Mouse.

■In 1988, Snow White was awarded a estrela on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

■Snow White is the first disney Princess, being the main character of Disney's...

Snow White ___________________________

In the beginning of the Grimm's Tale Schneewittchen, Snow White's mother pricks her finger with a sewing needle and three drops of her blood fall onto the snow which lay on the ebony windowsill. Oddly enough, this made her long for a daughter of a similar color scheme. While this reflects the arc of the story: (white)innocence, (red)maturity & love, and (black)death, her name particularly represents a season when the world metaphorically sleeps only to be inevitably awakened with the coming of spring.

Hello everybody, I just wanted to inform that this artigo is completely my personal option. There is absolutely no need to have a hissy fit if my opinion doesn’t conform to yours. Feel free to comment what your own ranking is if you wish. Anyways, let’s get on with this ranking.

#14 Merida

“I’m a boy with long hair.”
“I’m a boy with long hair.”

Merida is one of the most hideous animated females ever. She just screams ugly, unfeminine and manliness. She is the epitome of what’s wrong with strong female characters (or just females in general). Her head shape is hideous and makes her look...

Another fun idea that came to mind, we take two princesses see just how much they have in common. I wanted Pocahontas and Rapunzel first because Punz is a pretty good balance of qualities found in the classic, renaissance and revival princesses so it's easy to do this with her. Plus, it's a very common misconception that Poca is just this peaceful spiritual wise soul, and that's only half of her personality. What better way to debunk that than to compare her to the one of the bubbliest princesses

At first glance because Pocahontas looks mature and Rapunzel looks youthful, some would assume...

This is my guess:
Aurora:I always thought she's tall, but she can be medium height either. I would say 1.70 m,but she can be under that too.
Pocahontas:She's very tall, almost as tall as John Smith and he was tall. She has really long legs too.I guess 180-182 m.
Cinderella: I think she's average height. She's shorter than Aurora. Anything from 165-169 m.She can look tall sometimes.
Esmeralda:She's not a disney Princess, but I read somewhere that she's the tallest of all disney Princesses.
My guess is anything from 180 to 184 m.Don't know if she and Pocahontas would be same heght.
Elsa:I read that she...

Yesterday morning, when I looked up information for Frozen's sequel,I found something that baffled my mind beyond belief. It was an article, which stated that Idina Menzel herself,is a supporter for making Elsa a lesbian and giving her a girlfriend.
Where the hell do I even begin with this idea...? Well, let's start with what my reaction towards it was.
When I first saw this yesterday,I was both sad and furious.Even when I had class in the morning,I couldn't shake this out of my head.I think this is even worse than that time they said they're going to show a mais playful side of Elsa!

So I never really got to experience much of fashion-culture growing up and have just recently begun to give it any focus or attention. I have heard of the rule that "Redheads shouldn't wear pink." and I have seen some people discuss this here on FanPop in terms of Ariel and her rosa, -de-rosa dress. I have also read many comments debating Aurora's famous "Blue vs. rosa, -de-rosa Dress". In those discussions, I heard a talented user on this site, link say things like "She's a Winter." etc. I thought that was so fascinating! I had never heard of this concept before so I decided to look into it. That is how I came...

Hi everyone! I recently learned about the Bechdel Test from a friend and have been wanting to write this artigo ever since. This test is, at its core, an analysis of how women are portrayed in popular culture. It reveals how much women tend to revolve around men in films, books, etc. To pass the test, a film (or any other work of fiction) must meet three requirements: the film must (1) have at least two named female characters (2) who talk to each other (3) about something other than a man. It seems so simple, right? Unfortunately a surprising number of films fail in at least one of these...

Hello guys! Here's the first part of the countdown dedicated to disney Princesses Couples Month! All DP kisses were included. The most part of the kisses eliminated are from sequels, but there are also some kisses from original filmes that I've never expected to see out. The segundo part will be upload once the countdown will end!

31.Pocahontas and John Rolfe: First Kiss.

It was to be expected, this couple isn't appreciated a lot. Their faces weren't even seen when they kissed; definitively it's the worst DP kiss.

I hate Pocahontas with John Rolfe... ~LauraLane

Why don't they sell princess dresses like these? I'd buy the heck out of these!
Why don't they sell princess dresses like these? I'd buy the heck out of these!
Since it's Veteran's Day, I thought I'd use some rare time off to write an article. The only artigo idea I could think of that wouldn't take all dia to research and explore would be a list of princess "peasant" dresses rated in order from the ones I like least to the one I'm seriously considering commissioning my Ren Faire friends to sew for me.

Most people seem to amor the princesses' fancy, sparkly, poofy ballgowns, or their iconic princess dresses. I personally was never a fan. I'm a real stickler for comfort and practicality. Ballgowns tend to be made with a material I find uncomfortable...

First of all ignorant Ariel haters are advised not to read this because I am being brutally honest and not holding back. For those who say I'm being harsh they show no respect for Ariel's fãs and treat her like she's some kind of heartless monster so I don't owe them one bit of respect and will not show them any because they don't deserve it. Also I will not be doing the cliche of comparing Ariel to Merida, I've already done that in my Ariel vs Merida article. Besides, people do that enough already and I can't stand this war between them, it's really annoying. However I will be comparing her...

Third artigo in three days? I have a life..heh...heh..ANYWAYS, I've heard multiple times people calling Elsa complex, but they usually don't give an argument to back that up, so I decided to write this! I've also heard a lot of complaints from Frozen - Uma Aventura Congelante haters asking how Elsa is so complex, so I'm composição literária this for that as well. Anyway let's get started! I hope you enjoy! :)

Characteristics of a Complex Character (gotten online):

1. He or she undergoes an important change as the plot unfolds.

2. The changes he or she experiences occur because of his or her actions or experiences in the story.

3. Changes...
