 Anastasia, how are you?
Anastasia, how are you?
Hi guys, okay since I'm a fã of both films. So here are comparisons on both films.

The Story

While watching Tangled, I notice some similarities with Anastasia. Rapunzel and the latter are both lost princesses who would be a commoner for the majority of the film.
Unlike Rapunzel, anastasia suffers from amnesia while falling of the train and losing grip of her grandmother while escaping the revolution, while Rapunzel was kidnap as a baby por Mother Gothel.
They find true amor along the way, and they did not get on well with Flynn and Dmitri respectively. But, as time goes por their relationship blossom. Flynn was knighted in the end for finding Rapunzel, whereas anastasia and Dmitri elope together.

The Characters

Why I said that anastasia and Rapunzel are similar is because they want to know about their past, and not to forget that they are adventurous and intelligent. Especially during the train scene when anastasia helps Dmitri coming up with a solution!
Mother Gothel looks like the female version of Rasputin, mainly because of her appearance. But, Mother Gothel did not reveal her true nature until the segundo half of the film. While Rasputin was very straightforward, he was a villain at the beginning of the film.
Flynn is like Dmitri, because they had a awkward relationship with both Rapunzel and anastasia respectively until gradually they realise their amor for each other as the movie proceed.

The Music

Both songs and musical scores from these 2 filmes are memorable, anastasia reminds me of Alan Menken's work because of how similar they are. It is in fact, compose por David Newman.

Team Rapunzel or Team Anastasia?

So there you have it, do you agree my observations?
 Greetings you guys!

It has been so long since I did an artigo on here and I felt like it's time to do something and be a part of the DP community.
Anyways, this list might change after today so this would be a current list. So..don't be upset if your favorito movie is low.
I am also ranking them on animation, music and characters. So keep that in mind!~ (Also,no Frozen - Uma Aventura Congelante on this list. I haven't seen the movie yet.)

10) Beauty and the Beast.
Now,the movie wasn't too bad. It was just really really dull. The characters were meh and I just didn't see any development. The animation wasn't all that bad but it could have...

Right now I'm doing a countdown for which disney Princess is the best role model, and I've seen some people not think they're the best role models, and since personally I see them as the three best role models, I'd like to explain why I think so. Also, I wanted to right an artigo that was a bit mais thought provoking other than another countdown and I was bored. I'll go through why each princess is a good role model individually, and at the end conclude what they all have in common, so let's get started! (I literally say "let's get started" or "without further ado" for every single one of...

PERSONALITY OF AURORA (1/3)

Sleeping Beauty is tied with cinderela for my segundo favourite princess movie (Snow White is first). Here is the personality of Aurora as how I see it when I watch Sleeping Beauty; mostly chronological.

1. Playful
2. Tender
3. Wondering
4. Fair
5. Rebellious

1 PLAYFUL

Contently doing chores, singing/humming to herself, Aurora smiles as she overhears her aunts:

Fauna:
Yes, but how are we going to get her out of the house?
Flora:
Oh, I’ll think of something.

Knowing that it’s her birthday, she puts them on the spot por playfully asking “Well,...

A common complaint against Ariel is how she changes herself or gives up her fins, family and world for a guy. This doesn't bother me too much since the film establishes that she desperately wanted legs and life on land even before she saw Eric. Just listen to "Part of That World."

That's not the focus of this artigo though. Another common criticism is how losing her voice and trying to woo Eric anyway sends a message to young girls that you don't need to have opinions or a personality to get a man. That all you need is a pretty face.

I have two rebuttals for this argument.

First, one does not...

Here's my review of Frozen - Uma Aventura Congelante which I saw last Friday online so of course the quality of the movie wasn't amazing, but it didn't stop me from watching it. This is actually my first review so comments are appreciated. And don't worry those of you of you who haven't seen the movie yet, this review won't contain any spoilers

Story - 10/10

I had high hopes for the story to be good and it was really good. The Snow queen was one of my favorito fairytales when I was a child and this movie was a great twist on the classic fairytale. The story is not very complex, but also not too obvious. Like many...

No, this is not another artigo in defense of the Classic Princesses (though the subject may be brought to atention and you may be annoyed). This a follow-up to my review of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. I decided that besides reviewing each disney Princess movie, I'll also review the protagonist (a.k.a the princess herself). So, before I mover into reviewing (and watching, not in that order) Cinderella, I'm doing this artigo reviewing Snow White, the character herself.

Diferent from what happens with my reviews of the movies, I won't give her a score for each section. I'll just, well,...

So, I just finished watching Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, because I plan in rewatching all disney Princess filmes in order. I'll also write a review for each after I watch it - except Frozen, maybe, since I already did, but I may write a comparision about what changed in my opinions.

I'll also try giving each part (plot, music, etc.) a score, but I warn you I can't be too harsh.

Without further ado, ladies and gentlemen, the fairest one of all: Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs

The Plot:

I see almost no problems with the plot. in addition to being concise, it's charming and captures...

 First Renaissance movie
First Renaissance movie
This is the fourth of a set of reviews and analyses that I will be doing on each disney Princess movie. I will try to be as unbiased and analytical as possible. I watch the movie so that it is fresh in my mind, and review 10 categories: the princess, the prince, the couple, the villain, other characters, the plot, animation, songs, score, and mood. I then give each category a score out of 10, then the movie as a whole receives a total score out of 100. All categories contribute equally to the final score.
