That evening, Mulan, Pocahontas, and Merida decided to go for a walk around the land. They hadn't really had a chance to talk to each other because of everything that went on. "I'm glad you all were able to come down here." Pocahontas confessed. "I couldn't say no to such scenery!" mulan replied. "I, on the other hand, wanted to see YOU." Merida joked. The 3-some laughed. They sat down on some wooden árvore stumps.
"I'm really glad I met you two. Rapunzel and her rumored cousins were NO match for me." Merida said. Pocahontas and mulan smiled. "I'm thankful I had both of you por my side when Rolfe cheated on me. Without you, I would've never known what a foul man he was." Pocahontas replied. mulan and Merida shook their heads. "I'm happy I have the two of you in my life. I amor my friends back home, but sometimes, I need to see other people." mulan added. Pocahontas and Merida beamed. The subject changed all of a sudden.
"Pocahontas, don't take this the wrong way, but I feel like yer father kinda FORCED you into marriage." Merida confessed about Pocahontas' betrothal to Kockum. "My father had been asked por Kockum for my hand. My father gladly accepted and thought it was the right path for me. I didn't know about that path. I take no offense, though." Pocahontas cleared. "WHEW!" Merida breathed. "Mulan, I hope you don't take this personally, but what made you want to force YOURSELF to be betrothed?" Pocahontas asked. "It was a tradition for young women like me to marry a man who I never met before. We'd get matched up with a man and basically marry right away. When we had children, we'd hope for sons because they'd be useful for wars in the future." mulan answered. "Because of YOU, all that changed." Merida replied. "And because of YOU, none of the women would have the freedoms they do now." Pocahontas chimed in.
mulan beamed tearfully. Her expression soon changed, though. "Merida, I know you're a touchy person, but I feel like your MOTHER was forcing you into marriage." she confessed. "I felt like that, too. I guess you could say I learned she was only guiding me when I turned her into a bear. And, no, I ain't mad." Merida replied. The girls looked around the forest. Pocahontas suddenly hatched an idea. "I've never told you two about this before. Out of all the years we've known each other, I've decided not to tell you about this until now." she said. "What?" mulan and Merida asked in usion. "Let me take you there." Pocahontas happily answered. mulan and Merida suspiciously followed her.
"How deep are we into this forest?" mulan asked. "Not far. Only afew mais turning points." Pocahontas answered. The girls finally got to a big oak tree. "What is this? Your childhood clubhouse or something?" Merida asked. "No silly, it's a sacred place." Pocahontas answered. "Come on. It's something very dear and special." she continued as she climbed up the tree. mulan and Merida looked at each other and shrugged before continuing to follow her.

If I choose wrong, I will feel my Father’s wrath.
He simply won’t understand,
And will insist that I do as he commands.
Deep down in my coração I know that it’s right,
And I am willing to put up a fight.
I fell for a pale face.
The feelings I have can’t be erased.
I have shown him all the as cores of the wind,
And he was finally able to comprehend.
We could have one adventure after the other.
I never want to be with another.
I told my Father I don’t want to marry Kocoum,
But he doesn’t know where I’m coming from.
I have to keep our two worlds from going to war.
They must know we don’t have to fight anymore.
I must create peace,
Or the hate will just increase.
They have to see my side,
Or else our amor will be denied.
oi everybody! Happy DMLK day! I'll celebrate por some mixed people...
Lottie and Tia!
I like that even in their racist times Tiana and Lottie were friends all the way... I'm sure in events before the movie, Charlotte's light skinned friends judged her because she was friends with Tia and Tia's darker dark skinned friends didn't trust Lottie... I found this relationship sweet... she even risked a life-long dream for Tia. Can this friendship get anymore sweeter???
:') They've been friends since they were 5 or 7... unlike Pocahontas and her BFF... we don't know a lot about them... she seemed like a character after those sailors... but Lottie and Tia have that kind of friendship. The highlight is their times. Talk about racist! So yeah that's it!
This Friendship is perfect for today!
[I] I'll do it but for you Tia, no marriage included![I]
