Bonjour!

So there are lots of beautiful women in disney - however only the Princesses seem to be recognised for it. Today I've decided to acknowledge some of the other disney Heroines who are stunning, but who rarely get the recognition. They deserve it!
(No particular order, btw).

Slew Foot Sue
Melody Time

I'm not sure if many of you have seen Melody Time - it's a little bit like Fantasia por putting música to stories. But there's a girl in the story of "Pecos Bill" (who happens to be Bill's amor interest) who is actually quite pretty. Red hair; a colour that represents that of Ariel contrasts with her pretty blue eyes and red lips. She's an earlier version of Ariel, with that seductive glance that tells the world she knows she's something else. Plus, she rides fish.

Have no idea who she is? Take a look at this link

Tiger Lily
Peter Pan

Indian Princess Tiger Lily possesses a child-like and innocent beauty that we can't help but adore. Her big black eyes are full of wonder and curiosity and she, like Sue, seems to rock the plaits (or braids) style. She’s a stubborn child who won’t answer or bow to anyone, except maybe Peter, as her ruby red lips stay closed when she isn’t smiling flirtatiously. Her dress looks so cute on her and she is so cute herself!

Lottie (Charlotte)
The Princess and the Frog

Lottie is much loved por both the characters in the movie and the audience; her quirky and fun yet caring and selfless personality is incomparable. Likewise with her beauty. Her soft blonde hair curls just right for a 1920s style, and her blue eyes with long eyelashes are very pretty. Her body is pretty great too. Although she loves poofy dresses, accessories, make-up and being the centre of attention, Lottie also loves her friends and family, and the real beauty inside her is that she would give up her happiness in order for her friend to have her own. In my opinion, she’s the real heroine of the story.

Vanessa
The Little Mermaid

Vanessa, although the villain of the Little Mermaid, (in disguise, that is) is actually quite a gorgeous young lady. Despite barely speaking, she seemingly takes Ursula’s, (or, her) conselhos and uses her pretty face to her advantage to help her win Eric’s heart, instead of talking to him. Her thick, soft and wavy hair looks lovely on her, especially with her unique, large purple eyes and rosa, -de-rosa lips. Her body is quite nice too, and I like some of her outfits. Her nose and eyebrows are perfect in proportion with her face and their shape. She’s quite a lovely, yet evil, girl. Don’t judge a book por its cover, I guess.

Megara (Meg)
Hercules

Some of you may or may not know that Megara is my favourite ever disney character. I won’t talk about that now, but I will talk about the fact that she is beautiful. Her style of animation is different to disney Princesses as it is mais cartoon looking, but that was the way disney was going for and she had to correspond with the whole style, and the style of her amor interest. Firstly, Megara just has that seductive, sassy and sexy vibe that even a god can’t handle. Her smile is the most seductive factor; mais of a smirk showing no teeth. However when she does smile with teeth she looks lovely. Her droopy, tolet, violet eyes with make-up which acts as an enhancer are also seductive. Her hair is quite miraculous; a really thick, curly, reddish-brown pony-tail. A bit like Jasmine’s I think. Her waist is way too unrealistically thin, however she still has those curves which men seem to beg for. She just knows how to act, and how to look. You go, girl. Also, she is willing to give her life for the one she loves. Again, where beauty is at its finest.

The Evil Queen
Snow White

Another villain who is actually quite pretty, however unlike the protagonist, who displays a childlike, innocent beauty, she is portrayed as mais womanly, with curves, smaller eyes and a steady gaze and has a mais mature, feminine, womanly beauty as supposed to that of a teenager. Her eyes are a great colour; I amor green eyes. Ironically, she has red lips, pale skin, and we never really see her hair except for when she’s casting the spell. Her hair appears black, and when we can’t see it, the thingy that covers up her hair is black anyway. These are all features that made Snow White beautiful in the story. I just think it’s ironic. So she has this evil beauty thing going on, however she manages to pull it off.
But then she goes and ruins the thing that motivated to kill Snow White anyway, as she transforms herself into a hag.
So she gets points for beauty, but not for brains.
Unless she can change herself back? Oh, but wait, she’s dead.

Esmeralda
The Hunchback of Notre Dame

Another disney damsel who is not in distress; though it seems like the Princesses are, yet the heroines (and some of the princesses of course) can kick butt and save their own heroes. Sometimes I prefer heroines to princesses. Anyway, Esmeralda is absolutely gorgeous. Her eyes, I think I should start with. They’re her most beautiful feature; a greeny-blue, turquoise kinda colour, like my eyes. They seem to light up the room, wherever she is. They’re so bright and gorgeous, and her thick eyelashes do them justice. Her lips are great; perfect shape, lovely red colour. She has mais of a realistic body, which is nice, and her skin is great. Her hair I’m not too fussed on, but hey, she seems to like it, and it suits her, and that’s all that matters. I like the scarf in it, and it’s a nice, shiny colour. Esmeralda is a unique beauty, however, like previously mentioned heroines, she cares mais about her people than herself, which is where true beauty lies.

I think that might be all for now, however, lots of other females are floating into my head and I think I might have to do a part two! Is anyone interested in a part two? (Will definitely include Jane).
Thanks so much for reading!

Princess Elena of Avalor. Many people are already crying out for her, loving her, loving her for the diversity she brings to the DP line...

And I just don't see the fuss.

Don't get me wrong, I do want proper representation (yes, i do, actually, even though the most cynical of you won't believe it). What I don't want is tokenism, a character that has no personality beyond what is defined for them- their skin color/sexuality/etc. It's like if disney made a fat princess whom her whole personality revolved around food, or a bisexual princess who went around having crushes on everybody and being described...

Hello, I'm PrueFever, a 32 years old guy from Denmark and a Major disney Fan! My all-time favorito disney Movie is The Little Mermaid, Walt Disney's 28th full-lenght animated classic from 1989. I just amor all the characters in the movie, the songs, the score and the animation. I grew up with Mermaid, it was the first disney Movie I saw, so there's definitely nostalgic reasons as well, I'm not gonna deny that! I can always watch the movie and my mood goes up 100%! It never fails to amaze me. Also, the voice actors in this movie is spetacular! Jodi Benson is great as Ariel and even greater as...

 Type Three, "The Achiever"
Type Three, "The Achiever"
Introduction: Understanding the Enneagram

So, the Enneagram is a pretty complicated system of classifying personalities. Basically, everyone has a core type, expressed as a number of One through Nine. This is the most straightforward descrição of someone’s personality.

Here’s a basic rundown of each type:
1: perfectionistic, rational, idealistic
2: generous, warm-hearted, nurturing
3: ambitious, image-conscious, charming
4: sensitive, dreamy, moody
5: cerebral, perceptive, analytical
6: trustworthy, loyal, Valente
7: fun-loving, enthusiastic, lively
8: assertive, strong, self-confident

I know she's always typed as an Intuitive, especially an ENFP, and it's understandable why; I had once typed her as an ENFJ myself. She does, after all, just "know" the lights are "meant for me!" But is that really indicative of someone with strong intuitive preference? I think it's because this tendency for people to type nerdy/quirky/silly ESFJs as ENFPs, not only Rapunzel but characters like Steven Universe. It gets frustrating because that just implies only intuitives are inherently imaginative.

Anyway, to the typing:

Extroverted Feeling (Fe): Rapunzel is very warm to everyone she meets....

My User Icon Made By Myself
This is mostly inspired por the link por PrincessAyeka12. I thought it was really neat the way it gave a chance for people to talk about like interests as well as get to know the user better as a well-rounded person beyond just their DP favoritos etc. So I hope you guys don't mind this artigo and I'd amor to hear from you about what we do and/or don't have in common. :)

Behind the Screen Name: I amor leitura and composição literária so I wanted to pick a name that was very symbolic for me. I amor and strive for balance as I truly believe it is the key to life. My screenname was meant to represent the balance...

I really think he loses it, here... Raging at a person is not explaining to a person your personal view.

Triton is one of those dads in disney that absolutely makes me squirm. I don’t amor him, and I don’t hate him. But I do find him extremely unnerving, and on the same plane of Mother Gothel upsetting. He clearly alternates between being “nice” only sometimes, and then being really “explosively nasty” at other periods. King Triton’s rule is a patriarchy. I think his abusive tendencies, though, stem from insecurities he has within himself. Triton is afraid of the unknown. He's also afraid of not appearing “manly” enough. ( Bizarrely, this also makes me think of Prince Adam and...

Ah yes. Merchandise. Money, in other words. I adore the disney princesses. They are all unique, and have good qualities. Some are even a little complex and the majority are at least decent role models. That's not how disney markets them. Well, unless their name is Anna or Elsa. For the first 11 princess, they are downgraded into sparkle obsessed girls that look nothing like they did in their original film. Great princesses are forgotten in merchandise as well. The whole system is downright awful. For the Frozen - Uma Aventura Congelante sisters, disney markets them as "I don't need a man". They tried that with Merida...

As an adult, I viewed the name Gaston of Beauty and the Beast's villian, Gaston, as Gaston's last name. I only assume its his last name because 1)the triplet girls call him "Monsieur Gaston" which is basically saying "Mr. Gaston" in the opening song called "Belle" in the reprise that Belle sings por herself the line "Madame Gaston, his little wife?" Most of the time saying "Madame (name" would be like saying Mrs. Gaston. And there's the fact Gaston is a first name but it could also be a last name as well. The name of Phantom of the Opera's author.

Recently, I saw a pesquisa on this club about which House Rapunzel would be in at Hogwarts, which got me thinking about that pergunta in relation to all the princesses. I’m an avid Harry Potter fan, so I figured I would lend my unique insights on the matter to all of you lovely people.

But before I begin my analyses, it’s time for some disclaimers!

1. About the Houses. Here’s how I tend to think of the Houses of Hogwarts. (Note: I will be saying the most about Slytherin, since Slytherin is most often distorted.)

Gryffindor: values bravery, daring, bold decision-making, rule-breaking, following...

I decided to write an artigo on why my favorito disney Princess.. Is my favorito disney Princess. Anyways, please keep in mind that this is my opinion, and we may disagree, so respect my opinion, and I will respect yours. Enjoy the article! :)

Snow White is an amazing character, in my opinion. She is my favorito disney Princess, and is my favorito disney Character. She is also one of my favorito animated characters, and fictional characters in general. Now, let's talk about why.

She has a mix of what I like in a character, she's sweet and kind, but she isn't a pushover. She can be a bit...

I'm not doing it with the CGI Princesses because I don't particularly like any of their smiles. I mean... they look like real teeth Dx Anyway, here's my list...

9. Pocahontas
As some may know, I think Pocahontas is a really beautiful human being, in and out. But what I don't find beautiful about her is her ways of expression. When she speaks, it sounds like she's faking every type of emotion she's trying to express and the same goes to when she smiles.

8. Mulan
Mulan's smile feels held back so that's why she is in this placement. But I do think it's warm and natural, maybe not as ''impressive''...
