Well, Mongoose, you have inspired me. I enjoyed your favorito Soundtracks list SO MUCH that I will steal your idea and make my own. :)

10) Sleeping Beauty's soundtrack, much like the film itself, is pretty, but a bit lackluster. The songs are sweet and cutesy, but bland. (Just like Aurora, now that I think about it.) The main problem is the gross misplacement of songs; I like "Skumps" as much as anyone else, but did the two kings really need a song? Why didn't the fadas get a song? Or Maleficent? Maleficent deserves a hell of a good villain song, and for that reason, Sleeping Beauty has (once again) found herself on the bottom of my list.

favorito Song: "I Wonder"
Least Favorite:"Once Upon a Dream"

9) I adore cinderela as a film and a character, but I find the soundtrack to be miles ahead of Sleeping Beauty, but miles below the seguinte princess on the list. The songs are sweet and heartfelt and beautiful, but they all fit into one mold. Once again, there are no villain songs, and listening to those little mice screech in "The Work Song" tends to grate on me. Once again, the film is among my favorites, but you won't catch me listening to the cinderela soundtrack on my iPod anytime soon.

favorito Song: Sing, Sweet Nightingale
Least favorito Song: The Work Song

8) Allow me to explain before you start pelting me with hot garbage: I just didn't care for the songs in Tangled. It isn't that they were bad; they weren't. Mandy Moore has an incredible cantar voice, as do the rest of the cast. However, the songs themselves were... forgettable. If you took away the great vocals, the songs themselves would disappear from memory entirely in my opinion. So not bad enough to be memorable, not good enough to note... just bland enough to ignore.

favorito Song: I've Got a Dream
Least favorito Song: Mother Knows Best

7) I genuinely enjoy the songs from Snow White in the context of the movie; there's a good range of songs, most of them are upbeat and pleasant, and they mover the story along well. However, I just can't imagine walking around my college campus listening to Snow White's thin, grating little soprano warbling in my ear. Thus, the Snow White soundtrack has found itself planted in the middle: for movie purposes only.

favorito Song: One Song
Least favorito Song: Someday My Prince will Come

6) The mulan Soundtrack is excellent. I enjoy many of the songs, particularly (of course), "I'll Make a Man Out of You," which is the best song to work out to since "Make My Day" por the Soda Club. For whatever reason, it's just not my favorite. I like it a lot, but not nearly as much as the others on this list.

favorito Song: "I'll Make a Man Out of You"
Least favorito Song: "A Girl Worth Fighting For"

5) aladdin is this low purely because I have no interest in listening to it outside of watching the film. The songs are outstanding; there's a good range of songs, there's a kick-ass villain song (which goes a long way with me), and the vocals are awesome. However, the entire "Aladdin" soundtrack has become remarkably like everything Lady Gaga has ever done: spectacular, but so overdone that you die a little inside every time you have to hear it. Thus, aladdin is confined to the middle.

favorito Song: "Friend Like Me"
Least favorito Song: "A Whole New World"

4) Funny that one of my favorito soundtracks should come from one of my least favorito movies. I don't care to watch "Pocahontas" mais than once a ano or so, but I could listen to it every week. The sweeping instrumentals, the tense, powerful songs, and the outstanding lyrics are among Disney's best. Even David Ogden Stiers' melodramatic crooning can't offset this soundtrack's brilliance, and that, my friend, is an impressive feat.

favorito Song: Savages, Pt. 2
Least favorito Song: Mine Mine Mine

3) Beauty and the Beast is nearly a perfect movie. The characters are amazing, the plot is fantastic, and the música is well-performed, well-placed, well-thought out, and well-executed. The Beauty and the Beast Soundtrack is a prime example of this film's dedication to absolute brilliance, and it shows that when disney has its head in the game, it is truly a force to be reckoned with in the música department.

favorito Song: "Belle Reprise"
Least favorito Song: "Gaston"

2) Oh yeah. Be surprised. Unlike the other 90% of the world, I found the música for "The Princess and the Frog" to be high spirited, theatrical, and true to its Bayou roots. Having grown up in the South and having spent lots of time in New Orleans, this música sounds like início to me; it ranges from mellow jazz to full on Gospel, and there's nothing I amor mais than a good showstopping musical number. "The Princess and the Frog" soundtrack absolutely wreaks of free-spirited New Orleans fun, and it would be my favorite... if only it weren't for my number one pick....

favorito Song: Down in New Orleans
Least favorito Song: When We're Human

1) The Little Mermaid Soundtrack has not one, not two, but three of my all time favorito songs, a feat that none of the other soundtracks can accomplish. It's no wonder that with música like this and characters like these, "The Little Mermaid" mais or less single-handedly began the disney Renaissance.

favorito Song: kiss the Girl
Least favorito Song: Fathoms Below
I wrote this artigo based in disney Wiki's trivia.

Snow White: Snow Whites's name means white as snow and she lives in the bavarian Germany, as Rapunzel.
Cinderella: cinderela is derived from the French word Cendrillon, which translates in English as "little ash girl".She lives in French.
Aurora: Aurora means "sunrise" or "dawn" in Latin. Probably she lives in Germany .
Ariel: Ariel means "lion of God" in Roman and she lives in Denkmark.
Belle: Belle means beauty in french and she lives in France.
Jasmine: "Jasmine" is a Persian name for a beautiful flor and she lives in middle east (a town called...

I decided to start a series of analyzing the DP Couples in depth (and later, the other disney Couples) after I got bored one day, and wanted to write a series of articles. You can recommend me which couple to do seguinte in the couples section. So here is how it is going to go. I will first explain my no geral, global statement about the couples in a paragraph, and then I will analyze each scene to look at the inner and outer feelings of the characters individually an the couple itself.

Here is the first DP Couple Analysis: link

Most of you who have just read the título of this artigo are probably thinking in your heads, "Yes," or "oh hell yeah!" or something like that. Well before you jump to that answer, hear me out. Last night, I had a dream that was related to the scene in enrolados where Rapunzel confronts Gothel and while I was sleeping in, it got me thinking. Yes, what Gothel did to Rapunzel was wrong, but I'm not sure if she completely qualifies as a villain.....per say. Let me explain.
First of all, unlike the other disney Villains (with the exception of Frollo) Gothel isn't really interested in world domination...

What, someone's actually going to defend me?
People have been doing these kinds of artigos for their favorito princesses lately, so I thought I’d do this for one of my favorito characters from a DP movie. She is a character I feel is really underappreciated and gets a lot of unfair hate. You can read some of the negative things people have to say about her on milky-way’s link. I really amor Nakoma and feel a desire to defend her.

First of all, I want to defend her against something I’ve seen said about her (it wasn’t in that article, I’m not sure where it was, but I know I’ve seen it) that is just blatantly unfair and untrue....

Everybody knows that Ariel and jasmim are probably the most similar pair out of the princesses. They both stand up against their fathers, both are outspoken a bit rebellious, and attractive teenagers , not adults. These two are the few teenage princesses, so their behaviours are mais emotionally based than the others. Let's look at their situations

Ariel
Ariel has a slim, kind of curvy figure with long, thick red hair hat falls down to her waist. She is also a bit short, and has big blue eyes. In th beginning of her film, she goes above the sea to collect mais human artifacts, unknowingly...

My DP choices keeps changing every time. I'm diplomatic for my DP list :P So I decided to upload my latest rank list or countdown you can say.And yeah,I'm not uploading many imagens due to some arrangement problem in fanpop artigos lately.I'm very annoyed of this X(

10.Pocahontas(earlier Rank-7 :P)
I know that Pocahontas fãs will hate me for this but she's my LEAST favorite.I think that she's too old fashion.Well I am not trying to be racist.Means she's not my LEAST favorito due to her tribe, living or anything like that. But still I don't find anything so SPECIAL in her. Also she's every time...

I had inspiration to write this artigo because of a dream I had a couple years ago. I dreamed there was a map of the world, and points on the map. At the points, is where a disney story took place. For example, in India, was The Jungle Book.

So I wonder, where does each story take place? Well, not everyone knows for sure, but here are some I guess where each takes place. (I'm only doing disney Princesses)

1. Snow White
Snow White is really a dark story and takes place in dark times. I believe it takes place in early, middle age time, England. Around the 1400's. I think this because in the...

So I thought I'd take a break from the official princesses and find atrizes for the non official ones, the four main ones. Giving each of them a topo, início five list is too much work so I just chose the best actress for each forgotten princess.

Esmeralda-Mila Kunis
One of the most respected atrizes in the industry right now. Mila can definitely pull off playing a headstrong but beautiful leading lady. Plus she's got the same exotic features as Esme. Adriana Lima would also be a good choice, but there's abit of a language barrier.

Megara-Olivia Wilde
She plays a somewhat similar role in...

My seguinte interview is a very private affair and it is with the characters from Disney’s Aladdin. jasmim it seems has some very strict requests and everything has to be just so or the interview will be canceled. I am to interview them in one of Jasmines sitting rooms and the only people allowed are me, Aladdin, and Jasmine….but there we will be two Guards stationed at the door and Genie is going to make a brief appearance later and he will be bringing Jafar and Iago (Jasmine said I am only allowed to ask them one pergunta each). Abu, the Sultan, and magic carpet have to go elsewhere, but...

disney Princesses have some of the prettiest clothes ever, and here's a list of the ones that I think are the best on each one.

10. Tiana
Well, I'm not a huge fã of Tiana's clothes. Probably my favorito outfit on her is her green dress in the forest wedding. The color is lovely and it has a pretty shape. What kills it for me is the EXTREME PUFFINESS of it. It's just so huge I would HATE to walk around in that. It does make her figure look very flattering though. My least favorito outfit of her's would be her white wedding dress. Yupp, some people seem to like this one but I for one, think it's...

I know that most people don’t like Snow White, they either don’t like the princess or the movie or even both. I’m not going to try to change anyone’s opinion about this movie but I am going to try and point out what makes this movie important and hopefully I may persuade a few to change their minds.

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs was Disney’s first movie was premiered December 21, 1937. It was a huge hit and quickly disney became known around the U.S.A. por its widespread release in 1938 Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs earned four times mais money than any other movie released that...

Someone in the disney merchandise department seems to have decided that Belle’s flor is the rose – a decision I don’t really agree with. Yes, I know, the rose is featured very prominently in the movie. But it’s not really a symbol for Belle; it’s a symbol the need of the Beast to find true love. Which is, btw, the meaning of red roses: True Love. Seeing Belle as the rose, she would be symbolically under glass for the whole movie, and that doesn’t suit her character at all. In fact, shortly after the Beast puts the glass over his rose possessively, Belle flees from the castle....

All right, here's the results of the Favourite Pocahontas Character Countdown! And also my first article, so take a look at the results and (hopefully) enjoy!

15. Ratcliffe
The bad guy of the movie proves to be the least favourite character of most fanpoppers too. Not surprising, considering he isn't one of the most powerful villains in disney history. He's just greedy and doesn't understand the Indians. Nothing that makes you hide behind the sofá with your hands over your eyes.

"He gets on my nerves. Not the best villain either. He's too much of a sissy...

Alright, confession time: I set out to do this role model countdown with a certain level of zeal that I'm sure surprised some of you, but truth be told: it's part of some deeper research I've been working on for a while.
As many of you, I'm a student of both film and feminism, and I'm particularly fascinated por how women are portrayed and have evolved in disney animation. I've been researching and composição literária about my findings with disney and feminism for a while, but I wanted to see what YOU GUYS, the devoted fans, see in your favorito (or least favorite) heroines. Are they truly good role models?...

This idea sort of hit me in the face whilst I was doodling in the back of my French book on Tuesday when I should have been doing a listening exercise about someone wanting to be a doctor. What if Ariel didn't want our world for our lixo and our legs but our marvellous food? That underwater stuff must be dead gross.
I actually started composição literária this around a doodle of fat Ariel, but yeah. My French book's at school so improvisation time!

Basically, fat Ariel has gained a lot of weight recently and her father has forbidden her from eating any mais of this awful barbaric human junk. He's put her...

10.The Chinese Recruits vs. Themselves
What can be said? This is a hilarious battle that poor mulan started that resulted in a big pile up at the end. But it's not a serious battle, nor is it significant to the movie in any way. It's just a fun little fight.

10.Tiana's bun from building site
Many people dislike this hairstyle, I have no idea why. Maybe because they, I don't know, wanted to see her hair LOOSE at once. But no, we got another - BUN, yay!

And the person who was really persistent to eliminate this one is: TigerRanma, so I gonna include some of her comments for this one.

9.Snow White and the Seven Dwarves
Finally, Snow White and the Seven Dwarves gets last place. I'm sick of it winning first place everytime. This film is so overrated and overappreciated.

.....Most people said Snow White's voice was annoying and the songs were bad. That's all I have to say. I refuse to write any mais hatred about this film. From now on whenever I write artigos I'm just automatically going to put Snow White last, or not even bother including it in countdowns, as it's going to lose anyway.
