oi everybody, so I was watching Pocahontas this morning and I thought it was amazing as usual, but everytime I see it I can´t help myself from thinking about the sequel (which I know some people say is mais historicaly accurate, but who cares about that? I mean, it's Diney). No disrespect for those who do like the sequel. I'm not saying it's altogether bad, but the whole thing just seems a bit unnatural and rushed to me, considering the events of the first film. I'm just not feeling the chemistry between Rolfe and Pocahontas. Anyway, I came up with my own ending, for the sake of fun, and I´ll like to share it with you. Hope you like it.

So, the last thing we see is Pocahontas and John Rolfe sailing together into the horizon. A couple of months pass, and although they´re happy, Pocahontas hasn´t forgot John Smith, and Rolfe is starting to realize this, as she seems kind of moody lateley. They talk and Rolfe tells her that she will always have a special place in his heart, but that he realizes she only sees him as a friend. He tells her to think about it. Poahontas talks to his father, who tells her that sometimes the first path we choose is not the right one, but that we can always change our course, and he also tells her to listen to her heart. She goes looking for Rolfe, she hugs him and he understands this means goodbye, they agree to allways stay good friends and she waves him goodbye as he sails in a ship, but she´s afraid that Smith has mover on with his life, and she thinks it wouldn´t be fair for him to show up out of nowhere and expect him to go back to her.

Back in London, Smith meets Rolfe and the port. Smith looks kinda of sad himself. He asks how Pocahontas is doing, and if she´s with Rolfe. Rolfe tells him that she´s ok, and that she´s probably back home, thinking about him. John looks at him confussed at first, but then he gets it (that they´re not together anymore). He thanks Rolfe, they shake hands and Smith runs to get ready to sail. Now to be fair, Rolf is not really a bad guy, so, she walks into a crowd and suddenly bumps into an english girl (you know the whole "oh sorry", "no, no, it was my fault") They look at each other, and the girls says:"John! is that you?", to which he answers: "Emily? (or some other name you prefer)Wow I haven´t seen you since we were like what? 8?". Emily: "How have you been?" And they keep talking as they disappear into the crowd. (We all know how thats going to end)

Back to our main plot, Smith arrives at Pocahontas´ land, he goes looking for her at her village. Pocahontas´father sees him, Smith respectfully asks him where is her daughter. Chief Powatan looks at him, smiles and tells him "She´s not here right now, but I believe you know just where to find her". Smith thanks him with a gesture or a smile or something. He runs to grandmother Willow´s place, and finds Pocahontas looking at her reflection in the water. He steps on a branch, Pocahontas turns around and sees him coming through the vines. They look at each other, she runs to him, they hug and put their hands together (as they did in the first movie). Grandmother Willow pushes Smith with one of her vines, and says something like: "What are you waiting for?" They kiss. Pocahontas takes him por the hand, they run through the forest up to the same (what was it a hill?, let´s call it a hill) colina where she waved goodbye at him the first time. They look into the horizon, the wind blows, and they kiss as the camera zooms out. THE END.

I dedicate this poem to all of you, who like myself, still believe. I amor you all!

We’ve been fascinated with them since we were little girls.
Back when we wore our hair in ribbons and curls.
We longed to go to a fancy ball and wear a pretty dress.
Now our lives are full of worry and stress.
All we wanted was to be like the Princess in our favorito story,
A place filled with nothing but glory.
A place where true loves kiss can break the most evil of spells.
A land of happily ever afters and wedding bells.
Where the glass slipper always fits,
And a handsome Prince who finds it easy to commit.
It’s...

Sleeping Beauty was released on January 29, 1959 and was made due to the overwhelming success of Cinderella. Therefor the disney Studios got right to work revisiting the fairy tale formula and developing a new version of the classic story. It was decided early on that this film would have to surpass its predecessing fairy tale films.

Another fun idea that came to mind, we take two princesses see just how much they have in common. I wanted Pocahontas and Rapunzel first because Punz is a pretty good balance of qualities found in the classic, renaissance and revival princesses so it's easy to do this with her. Plus, it's a very common misconception that Poca is just this peaceful spiritual wise soul, and that's only half of her personality. What better way to debunk that than to compare her to the one of the bubbliest princesses

At first glance because Pocahontas looks mature and Rapunzel looks youthful, some would assume...

I was in a mood to do a ranking list, so I thought I should make a list of my topo, início 10 scenes from DP movies. So, here we go.

10. cinderela - waking up
Have you ever seen anyone waking up so gorgeous. Her elegance is to die for. She's looking adorable and elegant all at once, with her piggytails. I amor how she flips over and puts travesseiro overhead, not wanting to wake up from the dream. And isn't she cute, not telling the dream to the birdie friends. I like how she was so much in the moment, holding a pillow. And then, old killjoy strikes, haha! I amor how she gave us a peak into her other side,...

So I really, really, really amor the disney Princess dance sequences, particularly with the waltz, as I find it to be so sweepingly romantic! The animation of the dance, the way the dress twirls with the women, the romantic and powerful score in the background, the gorgeous scenery in the background and the usually gorgeous dress worn por the princess... I amor everything about these sequences! That's not to mention the show of romantic amor developing. I am very much an old soul so I really amor the process of "courting" which often included the man taking the woman out to dance or dancing...

So, I made a long rant on mulan in a poll, so I figured I would add mais into it, and turn it into an article.

I don't think she's amazing as people make her out to be. Brave, smart, a great personality. I don't see all of that in her. She's pretty brave, but I think there are braver characters out there than just her. She's smart, but I don't think she's THAT smart, quick-thinking and smart are different. I don't find her personality appealing. She's pretty lazy and gave up too easily at the beginning of the movie. She only works hard when she's forced. Then por the end of the movie, she's completely...

First of all ignorant Ariel haters are advised not to read this because I am being brutally honest and not holding back. For those who say I'm being harsh they show no respect for Ariel's fãs and treat her like she's some kind of heartless monster so I don't owe them one bit of respect and will not show them any because they don't deserve it. Also I will not be doing the cliche of comparing Ariel to Merida, I've already done that in my Ariel vs Merida article. Besides, people do that enough already and I can't stand this war between them, it's really annoying. However I will be comparing her...
