Why is encantada such an unpopular disney princess movie?

Well, to start, it's not a disney Princess movie. It was suppose to be, yes, but disney decided not to included it in the DP movie list.

Part of the reason is because it's mostly live action, but the main reason is because disney didn't want to pay for lifelong rights to Amy Adams' image.

Frozen - Uma Aventura Congelante was also suppose to join, but because it got so popular, it hasn't really. Moana is suppose to be a DP movie but we'll have to see how well it does first.

As to answer why encantada itself is unpopular. I think it might have to do with advertising. If you don't anunciar then not a lot of people are going to hear about the movie. And if they don't hear about it, well....

But encantada is getting a sequel, so it looks like it was pretty popular in some way.

I disliked the movie because there weren't many things that made it unique. To me, it just felt like a live action version of Snow White with a comical twist. If not for the comedy, I probably wouldn't have finished the movie.

Its not unpopular. Just because its not a disney princess movie doesn't mean its unpopular. encantada is a wonderful movie and is popular and called one of the most underrated disney princesses por many people. It is somewhat underrated and unpopular por disney itself, though.
