I believe there is some type of God-ish thing, but not necessarily "God" or and specific higher being or deities.

I think this God-ish thing is whatever anyone wants, or mais accurately needs, it to be.
If a person needs a christian God in their life, that's what they'll get. If someone else needs a Jewish God or Brahma, then that's what he'll get as well.

I believe this because I think organized religion is mais based on the wants and desires of someone a long time atrás than actual events, but I'm not convinced they were all brought on por absolutely nothing.

I believe in God. I believe he is active in the world today. I believe that he cares and wants to help those who call out to him and give them peace.
I believe that jesus will one dia appear in the sky. He will come back to judge the living and the dead. He will rule over his creation.
At that time, "there will be no mais sorrow, pain or death. For the old things have passed away."

Firstly, I do believe in a higher power. I'm agnostic, I don't believe in an organised religion. Ironically, in my mind, the only thing religion has going for it is science. The world is just amazing.
The belief that god will come one dia and "save us from our misery" is, I think, a very dangerous one. Probably one of THE most dangerous beliefs out there. People take it as a solution- it's not. They don't care much for progress and improvement, because appaarently, the world isn't going to last long anyway. For example, I've heard it said that global warming doesn't matter, because before we ruin our earth, jesus is going to come in his pure white unicorn, or the like. It's a stupid idea.

I think it would be pointless if we didn't have a god, it's pretty hard to think that we humans are the strongest , something mais powerful than us is up there i belive.

I was raised catholic, and even attended catholic school. However, there were just too many things I was being told that didn't add up. I spent two years being confused and looking for answers. I was basically agnostic then, although I didn't know there was a word for it at the time. I asked people perguntas and did research, but neither my teachers, parents, or priest could answer them in a way that was satisfactory. Atheism was the only thing that made sense. I've always been a science person. I need proof and evidence before I believe something.

I believe in the Abrahamic religions and therefore the God of the Bible, Torah, and Qu'ran. I'm what you call an open Christian because I don't follow a set of practices but I am a Christian and believe in Jesus. I amor God though and trust that He is real :) I amor all religions though!

When I observe what this world is in all of its splendor and beauty I think "How lucky are we, to be able to live here?". Then when I observe all of the malice that man is capable of I think " How is man capable of this?". When I apply this pergunta to the religious populous the answer most commonly encountered is " Its all apart of gods plan". Upon hearing this for the first time I realized exactly why these things are possible. Its because of the "damsel in distress" syndrome that religion is so keen on. Since nothing happens without gods consent all of this must be gods plan right? The people of any nation who have experienced genocide, the children in the congo who have to literally eat each other to stay alive, and any who have felt the harsh horrors of war can say that their lord will come to save them up until they are tortured, or starved, or beaten to death por their oppressors. Only inaction and mais suffering comes from the assumption that god is coming to save you. Only man can save himself, from himself.

This might scare you. But god can come any time to make the world end. If you do not want the world to end. We must stop harming earth. We must stop killing, murdering and sinning. The good gets carried away to heaven. The bad stays on earth and suffers the end of the world. I'm a christen. Lets stop global warming. Lets stop cars. Lets let earth be like our planet was meant to be.
