Damon's POV

I wanted to scream. I wanted to kill something. I wanted to do anything then feel this pain in my undead heart. The pain burned like fogo inside of me. I have never felt so guilt ridden in my entire life.

Elena. I can never forgive myself for what i did. I can't forgive myself for being so weak and not being about to protect the two most important people in my life. I hated myself for it. I don't deserve someone like her.

Elena smiled as she fixed the wings on Delena's back and stepped back to see her daughter. Little purple wings covered her back with a purple dress and matching shoes.
