Alright, Delena. Now when I first began watching The Vampire Diaries I was totally into the whole SE thing. I loved Stefan and I thought nothing could go wrong with him. And then I saw episode 11, when Damon saved Elena from her car after the accident (or crash mais like, I don't think it was meant to be an accident). I sorta knew it was coming when Damon kissed "Elena" (Katherine) on the porch. Of course it wouldn't have been abnormal if it really had been Elena.
I began understanding how Damon truly was a good person inside and how he, like anyone else, deserves love. Damon cares ultimately mais about anyone else, above himself. Elena truly begins to see Damon for who he really is and that is what lead me to change my Stelena Solves All to Delena Deserves Endgame. Elena can actually SEE Damon, something she has been able to work on since Season 1. With Stefan she simply saw his looks and how he was able to say a few words and Elena was his. Yet, Elena still does not fully see Stefan. She sees the shell he has created for himself. A shell he liked to believe was who he really was. And since Elena "fell in love" with Stefan when his shell got broken por Stefan, she still did not see who he really was.
Now in Season 3, we see who Stefan really is and, I think I and maybe even "WE" are beginning to see Elena slowly understanding who Stefan is. The mais she understands who he is and was, the mais she sees Damon is truly for her.
Elena has had three seasons to develop a true friendship with Damon and we see this is quickly becoming an attraction (love).
Bonnie and Caroline are not happy about Elena and Damon at all as they themselves were only ever able to see Damon with HIS shell covering him.
Damon's Shell = Keeps his emotions to himself because he is so scared of revealing his amor to anyone after Katherine. Damon is very often rejected, resented and unaccepted. This was why he kept his killing shell on. He wanted to show everyone that he did not care about how people felt about him.
This is why Caroline and Bonnie do not understand Damon. They do not try accept him or get to know him at all and this is why they are worried for Elena. Yet Elena sees Damon and that is why anything her best friends say she completely blocks out. And this is not a bad thing. At all. It shows she is truly accepting him.
And that is why I believe Delena should be endgame.
Because Damon deserves love, and acceptance and not to be rejected or resented for ONCE in his life.
Damon deserves mais than anyone else on the show to get what he wants and frankly what he needs. He needs Elena, and Elena needs Damon.

I think there are a multitude of purposes behind Damon not getting the girl...yet. First of all, she still has feelings for Stefan and their relationship problems this season have been over what Klaus did to Stefan and the effects it had on his character, not because of the relationship itself. The very first episode of the Vampire Diaries that I saw was the segundo episode of the first season. I did not ship Delena the minuto I saw them together. I shipped Stelena first. I was shipping Stelena first because I thought Stefan was a perfect fit. He was good for Elena. And Damon was the bad boy come to town to destroy his little brother's life and try to steal his girl. I kept that opinion of Damon until the episodes Blood Brothers and Isobel premired. Then in the season one finale I found myself cheering when I thought Damon kissed Elena.

My Experience With The Vampire Diaries

On January the 2nd in 2011 some family came to visit, bringing along a hard drive with many series and filmes on it. Among the series, there was one labeled "The Vampire Diaries". It stuck out to me for 2 reasons.
Firstly because I had heard my two best friends talking about how hot 'Damon' from 'The Vampire Diaries' was.
Secondly because I had become obsessed with Twilight for a while before that and I loved anything with vampiros in it.

Don't go crazy on in this artigo I will try to subjective. A side the fact I don't really like Stefan that much and hate stelena but this show has focused A LOT on Stefan's history.

I mean isn't about the 3 main characters (Damon, elena, and Stefan) about their history and how they changed as characters, but all we have seen and learned about for the last 2 seasons is Stefan past, who he was, what he did (his past as riper), his friends(lexie) ,and who became good Stefan.

But until now we know nothing about what Damon was doing for the last 100 and so years( I mean a side from trying to get...

I really hope there is a change of gears in the upcoming episodes.

Seriously! Stefan ended things with Elena and sure he still loves her but I mean HE REMEMBERS HIS amor WITH REBECA (LOVED that twist with her and Klaus knowing him btw)

I am praying that Stefan and Rebeca rekindle their relationship. That way Stefan will finally be in a happy relationship where he doesn't have to constantly worry about the amor of his life being in danger because of it.

What's your opinion on Kevin Williamson's latest interview on Delena? It seemed to depress, annoy, anger and strike fear in the hearts of a lot of shippers.
