After operation Brennan got private room in the hospital, where Booth, Andrew and Megan stayed while she was sleeping. Andy was sitting seguinte to her, Megan was standing near the window still in shock and Booth nervously sat in the poltrona seguinte to her cama with left palm on his cheek and thinking look.
“Seeley can we go home?” asked Megan a bit irritated por the situation.
“Sorry Meg, I’m not leaving her.”
“You can go if you want, I’ll stay with her,” joined the conversation Andrew.
“I’m her partner we were solving murder, there’s no way I leave this room. Do you understand?” raised voice Booth a stood up of the chair.
“Booth, I’m also FBI I can take proper care of her too,” started Andrew.
Booth just gave him look that suggested shutting up or he’s going to kick him out. Silence filled the room, but Brennan started waking up. She just opened her mouth, with her eyes closed and tried to say something.
“v…u,” tried firstly, “ ov...you,” segundo try was clearer, but still not clear enough to them. Booth and Andrew were leaning above her and Megan moved near the back of her bed.
“Love you,” said Brennan finally with her eyes closed.
“Love you too Tempe,” happily responded Andrew and kissed her forehead.
“Booth,” when this word came out of her mouth Andrew stood up straight, Megan angrily left the room and Booth grabbed her hand.
“I’m right here Bones,” he answered and sat on her cama “you should rest now, take some sleep,” finished and caressed her cheek. After his words she squeezed his hand and fall asleep.
“She is probably just dreaming after anesthesia with hallucinations, she didn’t even opened her eyes,” said Booth when he saw Andrews facial expression.
“Right, but she’s dreaming about you anyway,” stated Andrew and threw himself into a chair with face dived into his palms.
“Booth!” it was Angela rushed through the door “how’s her?” asked while hurrying seguinte to her, “still sleeping?”
“Yeah, except the moment when she said she loves him,” sarcastically nodded Andrew.
“Love who?” asked Cam entering the room.
“Nobody, bones got just live dreams after her anesthesia,” resisted Booth. It wasn’t really like he wasn’t satisfied what she just said, but this circumstance wasn’t pleasant at all. Night falls down and everyone except Booth and Andrew left. Andrew put a chair seguinte to her cama touched her hand and fall asleep with his head seguinte to her hand. Booth was sitting in the poltrona again and watching her peaceful sleep.
When Brennan woke up she saw two sleeping men, one beside her cama in poltrona and one seguinte to her hand in a very funny position of a drunken man in a bar. She sat on her bad very carefully so she won’t wake them up and smiled, before she realized her stomach hurts.
“Dr. Brennan, what are you doing?” yelled doctor when he entered the room for a visit, “you are not allowed to sit, you can be happy you survived this attack.”
“What attack? What happened? I just remember how I was walking nearby pool and than we went swimming with Booth on the de praia, praia and… it doesn’t make any sense,” she was confused, but had to admit nothing of what she just said was probable to happen.
“Bones! You’re awake!” called Booth so excitingly that it woke up Andrew.
“Tempe, how do you feel?” immediately asked Andrew.
“I… I’m not very certain about what happened and my abdominal muscle is not confident with me in a sitting position. Could you leave me alone with Booth for a moment?” she said without realizing what she just said. Doctor left room so they can talk after he helped her to lay down again.
“With Booth…uhm… lets say no, why do you want to be alone with a man who caused you all this pain. He’s not a good partner for you Tempe. You are not FBI to take care of yourself and…”
“Leave… or I’m going to call guards…” said Brennan with very heavy breath and tried to sat up again, “this all is my fault, Booth never wanted me to go to the field with him, you have no right to accuse him of this, he’s the best partner I could ever get,…” continued angrily, but it was hard because she was so weak.
“Dr. Brennan for god sake, what are you doing?” yelled doctor as he returned, “Gentlemen I have to request you to leave. She needs rest.”
Both men left the room respectfully and sat outside her room. After 5 minutos doctor came in to see them.
“You can go back,” allowed doctor looking at Booth.
Andrew stood up to go back with him, but doctor raised his hand to his chest and stated “I was talking to Agent Booth. You are not allowed to enter Dr. Brennan’s room ’till she won’t say so.”
Booth looked at the floor and silently entered her room came to her cama and sat on it.
“Thank you Bones… for what you said about me,” added when he saw her confused expression.
“I don’t understand how you can stand jealousy of Megan, I…”
“Bones, you said you amor me…”
“I don’t remember saying that,” Brennan defended herself.
“It was probably just a dream, but it pissed Andrew off so he wanted to talk to you about it and first thing you said after you woke up was that you want to talk to me alone. I think you can understand now why he is so jealous.”
“I was attacked during our case, it’s logical I want to talk to you what happened and if there’s anything new about the remains.”
“Yeah…, I mean no, all squints are in the hotel they were worried about you. I’m gonna call Angela that you are awake and they can come and tell you details they found so far.”
“Thank you, Booth. And I meant what I said.”
“Thanks, do you want me to call Andy back in here?” asked slightly confused Booth with her sentence ´I meant what I said´.
“No, I’m tired, but you can stay.”
Booth felt cheered up with this answered, but left outside to make a call. When he came back she already fall asleep again so he just sat into his poltrona and watched her breath.
