“Catherine’s POV”
Forgive me, for I have sinned! Forgive me, for I looked in his eyes and died!
“Catherine? Francisca is on the phone! And hurry, you need to go to school…” I was not looking progressivo, para a frente for this day. Just the thought of having to go to school, that place where I knew he would be, made me shiver.
“Coming!” I yelled back to Emily. I just needed to relax. I just needed to think that soon, very soon this would all be over and I would be seguinte to Daniel laughing about all of this.
I got to where Emily was holding the phone in her hand and, as I took it from her, I whispered: “two minutes”.
“Olá Francisca!” I knew she would be thrilled that I was talking in portuguese. (“Hey Francisca!”)
“Hey, Cath! You are talking in portuguese, that’s awesome… I was just calling you to ask if you wanted to go with me to school. I live close to you and I usually take the bus to school. Like that you could learn some new things on the way to school. What do you think?” That would be good, not having to hear Emily tell me all about how fun school was going to be and how happy she was that I was here.
“That sounds amazing! I just need to ask my aunt. Could you hang on an second?”
“Ya, sure.” Her voice was excited, I could tell that she was hoping that my aunt would say yes.
“Emily?” I said holding the phone in my hand. “Do you mind if I go to school with Francisca por bus? Like that you could stay início a few mais minutos and finish whatever you need for work!”
“Ohhh of course! I still have some things to do and that would be amazing! Let me just give you some money in case you need it!” She said as she got out of the cozinha and came to me. “Here… Have fun! And thank Francisca for me.”
I gave her a smile and told Francisca that I could go with her! I got my things ready, gave Emily a kiss on the cheek and headed downstairs where Francisca was waiting for me.
“Hey… Are you ready?” She asked.
“Yes, and you?” I said with a smile. Maybe this wouldn’t be that bad... I would do my best and maybe being in the same class with him wouldn’t be that bad!
“Yes… We just need to wait for Alex!” My coração fell to my feet. All hope that I still had about this being bearable went down as soon as she said his name. “I’m sorry, I know this must be horrible for you, but he called me one minuto after I talked to you and I didn’t have the courage to tell him no.”
“It’s all right. Don’t worry! I would have to see him at school, this is just a bit earlier.” I did my best not to fall to the ground along with my coração as we started to walk to his building. Francisca rang the door sino and two minutos after Alex appeared. I couldn’t describe what went through my mind in that minuto because the segundo he appeared I felt like I was in Hell. He looked like a god, he was wearing an ivory camisa that went beautifully with his eyes and he had some brown pants on. It was the simplest thing he could be wearing but him in that was enough to make me wish that I had never come out of the house today.
“Hey, girls. How are you today?” He never looked at me, even if he was talking in plural for me and Francisca his eyes never reached my face. In some way I was thankful for that, but that also meant that he was mad at me for yesterday and in part that hurt me mais that it was suppose to.
“Hey, Alex. Are you ready? We need to be going if we don’t want to miss the bus!” Francisca said and started to walk to the bus station.
I walked close to her and as far away as possible from him. I was lost in my own thoughts when I heard Francisca:
“You see… here we don’t have a bus that comes and picks us up, we go either on foot, por car or por public bus. It’s a bit far to go on foot and my mother is always busy so I normally go por bus.”
“Ohhh, I usually went on foot to school. It wasn’t that far away and we had a big group that went together. We were around eight normally, it was really fun because we told jokes and stuff. Sometimes it was just me and my friend, Beatrix, because I was the only one that waited for her… She was always late!” Remembering Beatrix made me laugh. She was always late and the funny thing was that as soon as I said “Charles is waiting”, she would start to run like the devil was on her back.
“We are almost there, Kika.” Alex said after almost fifteen minutos of being silent.
“What did you call her?” It was the first time I heard him call her that and that made me curious. Not because it was something related to Francisca but because it was something related to him.
“Ohhhh it’s a nickname. You can call me that too. It shorter then my whole name!”
I wasn’t even paying attention to what she was saying because when I asked he turned his eyes up and locked them on mine… I was trapped and I just didn’t want to get out of that stare…
Like the end of this one:P Don't really know why, but I do:)

Isn't it love, to forget
Everything we ever knew?
Isn't it love, to hear the birds sing
And think we understand them?
Isn't it love, to look at a desert field
And see it covered in flowers?
They tell me, they do not know
Why they amor who they love!
However, I know...
They amor because
They seek emotion,
They amor because
they procurar a reason to live,
They amor because
They only know how to love!
So they weep and suffer,
They suffer because
they were abandoned,
They suffer because
They were hurt,
They suffer because
They only know how to love!
Isn't it love, to forget
Everything we ever knew?
Isn't it love, to hear the birds sing
And think we understand them?
Isn't it love, to look at a desert field
And see it covered in flowers?
