"Kate, Humphrey, you guys ready?" Two nods is all I got. I looked up at the sky and realized just how bright the moon was that night. Humphrey walked up seguinte to me. "Hey ummmm Wynter, y'know, I was thinking..." I glanced at him impatiently as we walked. "Right yeah as I was saying. I don't think we'll find the killer in our pack." My ears perked up. "What are you suggesting Humphrey?" He had my attention now. "Well we haven't searched in the Eastern pack at all." Kate sped up and chimed in. "Yeah Humphrey might actually be onto something here". We stopped for a second. I looked at Kate and Humphrey. "Alright then, change of plans, looks like we are going to eastern pack territory." As we set off, snow fell steadily. It took us little a under 15 minutos to get to the territory. We decided to stay in our trio pack, yet I was always in the lead with Kate in the rear. I found it strange that she lingered in the back, but I didn't pay much attention to it. As we looked around, the snow fell harder. I lost track of time and my paws started to get numb. Kate broke the silence among us. "Wynter this is pointless. I mean look at us." We stopped walking. "We can't stay out here any longer Wynter. " Her soft tone told me she was intimidated por me. I let out a sigh. "Kate, Humphrey, you two can lea-." We all heard the loud thud. Instinct kicked in and I bolted towards the sound with my two allies following me. Another loud thud drove me to run faster. As I locked onto the fonte of the sound I realized it lead to a cave. Kate and Humphrey soon arrived behind me. To my surprise, Kate went in first, but I quickly resumed my role as lead. We walked in the damp cave until the moonlight barely lit the way. Our eyes soon adjusted and the loud thud echoed throughout the cave. "No way." I put my paw over Humphrey's mouth. Without thinking, I charged at the lobo that killed my best friend. The closer I got, the mais detailed he became. He stood on his hind legs, had bulging muscles, and his casaco was black with yellow streaks in his mane. I leaped at his throat and took him down. Kate jumped on his back and sank her teeth in. His voice boomed as he spoke. "Why you little bitches...." With one rápido, swift motion, he plucked Kate off his back and used her to beijoca, smack me. I fell onto the the ground and he threw Kate at me. "I don't have the time for this." He turned, and just like that, he was gone. I eventually got up and I looked at Kate to find that Humphrey was helping her get up. "Where the fuck were you Humphrey?!" He said nothing. He just looked at me with sorrow in his eyes. I got up and searched the cave. That wolf..... that THING was after something in here.

I found a small hole, big enough for a lobo to crawl through. I scoped it out and gathered Humphrey and Kate. I decided that we would crawl through, and so we did. The tunnel was only narrow for a section but it quickly opened up. I was now able to completely stand up and as I did I was face to face with another wolf. "Hehe oi Wynter." I stumbled back. "No it can't be". The lobo gave me a warm smile and stepped closer. That smile, that laugh, it was her. It was Lexi. First emotion? Anger. I raised my paw and struck Lexi across the face. She fell backwards and I stood over her with tears streaming down my face. "I thought you were dead! I thought I'd never see you again! I mourned for you! Do you have any idea how much you hurt me?!" I backed off and turned away. "Wait Wynter, please let me explain." I looked back, made eye contact and kept walking. Kate entered as I was exiting. "Wynter is everything ok?" I shoved past her. "Yeah just fine."
