all i know is that skipper said that he and kowalski were in thier early twenties but when someone asked who is the oldest skipper replied "isnt it obvious"....so im not sure

Well, Buck Rockgut called Private a college boy, so I think he's about 18 years old. By penguin standards, he has to be an adult because he has his adult feathers. I think the team treats him like he's younger because he is the private.

Just because Skipper is the leader, I don't think we should assume he is the leader. I actually think Rico might be the oldest because he looks like he might have been in many battles (scar, damaged vocal cords, whatever happened to his stomach to make him able to hold all that crap).

Buck Rockgut said that he has been waiting for the squirrel for 37 years, add 37 on to his age before that (probably 19-22) and you get his real age.
Not to mention thats Skipper said “I have waited all my life to meet Rockgut” something like that)
so he is probably yonger then Buck.

In my theory and practice, the penguins' ages are, when ordered by rank, separated by two years and two days, beginning with Skipper. Here's exactly what I mean by this:

-- Skipper: Hatched June 20, 1989 (age 20)
-- Kowalski: Hatched June 22, 1991 (age 18)
-- Rico: Hatched June 24, 1993 (age 16)
-- Private: Hatched June 26, 1995 (age 14)

When I came up with these ages and hatchdays about a year ago, I established this pattern both for fun and so they would be easy to remember. I have also held that the average lifespan of real penguins (approximately 20 years) need not apply to talking penguins; our flippered friends should instead expect to live on course with typical human expectancies.

Lastly of note: Since it is now June, according to my theories, the penguins' birthdays (herein referred to as "hatchdays") are soon approaching. Happy hatchday, guys!

Other than Skipper, I didn't really have any basis for their actual birthdays, but I figure I need to celebrate their birthdays sometime!
