Caroline was standing with Elena, her cell phone in her hands, while cheerleading practice was on.
“I can’t believe I quit this a ano ago” Elena said.
“Why? You miss it?” Caroline asked as she was dialing a number.
“Not really, no” Elena sighed. “Maybe I should just get rid of my costume. It’s not like anyone’s going to see me in it anymore, right?”

Damon carried Elena over the doorstep, like a bride and kicked the door with his foot, in an attempt to shut Bonnie outside. However, she just in time stopped the door from locking and she entered the Gilbert house.
“I’ll take her to bed” Bonnie said authoritative. But Elena groaned sleepy and clung on Damon’s neck. Damon ignored Bonnie and carried Elena upstairs to her bedroom. He opened her door, walked her to her cama and gently lay her down.

Caroline was hanging in the Grill when her phone rang. “Sheriff Forbes” she said short when she answered.
“Sheriff Forbes, hi” Stefan replied. “I was wondering how it’s going with the murder on Gabe Lindy”
“I’m sorry, Stefan. I can’t give away such information” Liz answered.
“I’m going to take a wild guess and say the corpse is missing” Stefan said amused. A few segundos of complete silence followed. Stefan had asked Katherine to compel the sheriff to forget he knocked her down and took the body.

Oh boy...THIS episode had me reeling for hours afterward. My thoughts were basically any other DE fan's that were heartbroken. Honestly I felt for Elena this episode...Stefan and Caroline were REALLY annoying me! It felt to me like they treated her vampirism and her feelings for Damon like it's a disease! Also not only did Caroline not give her the time of day, but Stefan acted in a way that was COMPLETELY uncalled for & put Elena in danger because it seems like they both cannot accept that Damon and Elena's feelings for each other could be real.
