I'm new here and I just wanted to share my views on why Damon and Elena NEED to be together. I wrote this for a friend to persuade her to cadastrar-se Delena, and this speech worked. I hope you like it.

I asked myself why the Elena from the TV show is so different from the Elena from the books. In the books, Elena is a spoiled highschool queen at the beginning of the story and stays very bossy throughout the books, while Katherine is a docile and obedient Renaissance girl, until she becomes insane. And one reason for this change in the characters could be that it is easier to show Delena’s development as twin flames. Because although it is not said like in the books, all of the parallels of DE in the show, the fact that they are so much alike ("She already IS like me.") and everything else...

Why Bamon can never happen

I’ve been hearing all about Bamon and how Damon and Bonnie will be the best coupling on the show but I just can’t see it. DB’ers have asked me why I don’t ship them so i’ll give them my topo, início five reasons.

1. Why do you ship Bamon?

There’s absolutely no good reason to ship them. I’ve heard from BD fãs that Ian and Kat have the best chemistry on the show. That’s a matter of opinion and I disagree. BD’ers constantly say that Elena will be a whore if she hooks up with Damon. That can’t be anymore not true.

Elena will get over her amor for Stefan, just like everyone does. Sooner or later she will fall for Damon. That has been stated over and over again. This is a amor TRIANGLE. If Delena wasn’t supposed to happen then Damon would be lusting after someone else and not Elena! Fact: Delena will happen and you can scream “whore” until you’re blue in the face. It’s not gonna change the facts.

The Salvatore brotherhood will not be ruined! Seriously why does anyone think it will be?...

My response to why do Bamon fãs ship Bamon?

My answer was too long to fit in the question, so I've posted it here. Please note that this is purely my opinion and I do not wish to affend anyone. Enjoy.

At first, I had absolutely no idea why anyone would ship Bamon. However, that's because I always felt like Elena will always be number one for Damon and that that will never change. My opinion on this hasn't changed, but now I can at least understand why Bamon fãs ship Bamon.

They see chemistry between Bamon; like we see chemistry between Delena, Bamon fãs see chemistry between Bamon. To me, chemistry is all about how well the characters...

Stefan did NOT resist compulsion in 3x05 'The Reckoning'

Klaus compelled Stefan to feed on Elena once the clock was on zero. When the clock was on zero, Stefan stabbed himself, to slow himself down, to give Elena a fair chance to run. It was a noble, and selfless act, but it was not resisting compulsion. When Klaus compelled Stefan to turn off his emotions, and to feed from Elena, Stefan did. He DID turn off his emotions, and he DID feed from Elena.

Damon allowed, ORDERED Jeremy to kill him when he was compelled to kill him. He’d rather sacrifice his own life, instead of taking Jeremy’s, because he knows how much Jeremy means to Elena.

So, Stelena shippers who believe Stefan loves Elena more, because of their stupid ‘compulsion theory’, can shove that theory right up their ass, because it’s a load of crap!

The word epic has been a point of contention in the TVD fandom. Thank you for composição literária me such a beautiful, kind email. Yes, I think epic is the word for the amor Elena and Damon have for each other in Midnight. I mean, she completely destroys a moon for his sake. I wrote a lot about Damon and Elena—and Bonnie and Damon, too—to show that Damon is finally discovering his deepest feelings. In the case of Elena, they amount to three simple words that makes Stefan think that Elena no longer loves him. He thinks that she simply wants to be with Damon now—and after all she does, it’s hard to blame him.
