Seriously Elena doesn’t want Damon to change. Damon has low self-esteem and thinks that nobody accepts him (it’s not like he’s never been given a reason to feel that way, though), that’s the problem, it’s because of him, not her. I wrote this after the episode where Stefan and Katherine were in the tomb but instead of Stefan and Katherine's amor affair being a dream, I made it real and had Elena find out. It's been a while since I wrote anything so urso with me.

Elena sat in her room on her cama in stunned silence. She couldn’t believe that Stefan had betrayed her the way he did with Katherine. She had spent several hours up here sobbing to herself but now she felt anger and contemplated going to the tomb and confronting him about it.
