X-Men: Apocalypse arrived this morning and with it came a host of new information about the title character. Apocalypse is a serious force to be reckoned with, quite possibly the most powerful single mutant we have seen in the X-Men franchise to date. Here�s a quick rundown of the new information provided by the new trailer.

Apocalypse is believed by many to be a god. So much so that he�s apparently been inserted into every major religion the world has ever known. He was Ra to the Egyptians, Krishna to the Hindi, and Yahweh the Israelites. �He�s seen as the first mutant and one of his mutant abilities is apparently immortality, or something else that has allowed him to live for "ten of thousands of years."
