Doctor Deborah Risman was the geneticist who originally created X23. She previously worked for the spy organization of Hydra because it gave her limitless boundaries to push genetics to the seguinte level. She was commissioned por them to create the ultimate weapon, based on designs from the Weapon X program. Twenty-two times she failed, then realized Wolverine's healing factor had been what enabled him to survive the adamantium bonding process.
por unknown methods, some of Wolverine's DNA was obtained (wouldn't be too hard, considering his duels with Sabertooth) and used to create a clone of him. However, the clone's DNA underwent a hormonal imbalance, resulting in a female version of Logan. It was at this point Dr. Risman realized what she had done.
Though she did not approve of Hydra's method of raising X23 (which was practically non-existent, save training) she stayed without protest to do what she could for the little girl. After she betrayed Hydra and fled, Dr. Risman went straight to S.H.I.E.L.D. to confess her sins to them and Wolverine.
Presumably, she remained with S.H.I.E.L.D., since going back to Hydra would likely be fatal.

Margali Sefton is Amanda's mother, though little else is known about her. She hasn't been seen since the disastrous evening when Kurt was over to her início and exposed as a mutant por Todd.
The Evolution version of Margali has, like her daughter, not shown any powers or gifts, but as many long time X-Men fãs may know, the comic version is actually a powerful gypsy sorceress with links to Kurt's past.

Remy's adopted father, Jean-Luc LeBeau, is the head of the Thieves Guild. He's ruthless and businesslike, even with his son, using him and his mutant powers to his own advantage to steal from others and destroy rival groups (like the Rippers). After seeing just how powerful some mutants can be (since the X-Men helped in the rescue), he may try mais recruiting in future.
Though his son was noble enough to rescue him when he was captured, the two do not see eye-to-eye, and Remy is no longer part of the Thieves Guild. Because in some ways, his father is just as bad as thugs like Julian.

The Hungan is a dreaded foe from Storm's past. Apparently he once was worshipped por a small tribe of Kenyan's, almost as a god, until the true, greater powers of Storm drove him out, and she was proclaimed their Goddess. When she left, he assumed power, but his desire for revenge was not so easily slaked. Taking with him some of his elite tribesmen, he journeyed to Bayville and captured Storm's soul in his scepter, taking control of her body and powers.
The other X-Men and especially Spyke (who shattered his scepter) spoiled his plans, and last he was seen was being hurled into the ocean por a Storm powered hurricane.
