Everyone seems to be hating on Hydra. What do you guys think?

I like covers from some people myself. But, with Within Temptation, i prefer their own stuff. I didn't hate the album, but it wasn't like their usual stuff.

Eh, I don't like it but I don't hate it. As I've stated before, it doesn't have that dramatic edge that all of their anterior albums had and it's too peppy for me. Symphonic Metal is my favorito genre for a reason, and this album sounded a bit too much like all those current pop/rock bands that I dislike and I prize the entire Symphonic Metal genre over.
