estrela and I race towards the woods, trying to find the other gatos they had smelled. The ground was muddy and sucked at there paws but they hurried on, scared and hungry. They stopped finally gasping for breath as the darkness of the woods swept over them. An owl hooted in the distance, other than that it was quiet.... to quiet. My paws were clogged with mud and my white belly looked brown. estrela meowed quietly "I don't think we are alone.." she scooted up against me shivering. I realized too, I was shivering.
