Know what? I've decided I want to talk about what makes a game a masterpiece. Let's start.

Prime Example of a masterpiece:
Shadow of the Colossus is a game that grabs your coração and doesn't let go. Every time you down a colossus it actually makes you feel guilty of slaughtering such a harmless, amazing beast, with help of slow-mo cutscenes of them hopelessly falling to the ground in pain. There's a clear amor between Wander and his horse, it's a true friendship that cannot be torn, and the fact that Wander would go through hell to save the woman he loves is proof that this game means something.

The Situation:
Shadow of the Colossus was too "boring" a game to become highly successful among many gamers, as it didn't allow you to shoot something every half a second. Is this a serious concern to me? Yes, yes it is. The industry has clearly become so focused on bringing you an explosion packed, sweaty-palmed shooter to consider putting some imagination into their games and make a true mark on the gaming world. Everytime I enter a game store I see rows packed with shooters that do nothing special, but hey, people buy them as soon as their last shooter runs out of fun. It's gaming crack to them.

Solution:
Find mais companies like Naughty Dog, Sucker Punch, Team ICO, and Media Molecule and make some innovative games that will definetely leave a real mark on the gaming world. We need mais games like SOTC and inFamous where patience is a virtue.
Sure, an occasional shoot-em-up like Uncharted is a warm welcome, but gamers need to learn that some of the most rewarding gaming experiences are ones where you must take your time.

 What remains of couch-multiplayer:
What remains of couch-multiplayer:
When I first started composição literária drafts for this artigo I was going to write about the next-gen consoles leaving out good ol' couch; but after mulling over it, I came to the conclusion that both online and sofá multiplayer are equally in use, though they are separated por the console boundaries.

Recently I've noticed that a lot of FPS's seem to be online-multiplayer only and that there is no couch-multiplayer mode in these games. "What a pain" I thought to myself, 360 controller in hand, sat seguinte to a Wii owner. Clearly we would not be playing this game together any time soon. My miserable-cynical-git...

Oracle of Seasons, one of the most frustrating games in my memory but also one of my all-time favourites.
Oracle of Seasons, one of the most frustrating games in my memory but also one of my all-time favourites.
It occurred to me recently that modern gamers are.... wimps. I'm not excluding myself here.

Whenever a gamer is punished for failure, such as a lives system they moan, they whine and they throw their controllers and say "games shouldn't have these features". The fact is that we are spoilt. A lot of next-gen games give players cheap thrills, immediate fun with no long-term fun or big hills to climb over.

The lives systems and game over screens give a game violent ups and downs, but I believe in some cases the pros outweigh the cons and I'd hate something so marvellous as this to be wiped from...

"Note" This artigo is for educational purposes only and should not be sold or edited for any other purpose. Thank you.

Now, where should I start... Okay. Fanboys are the most fat-headed, ignorant people you could EVER meet. If you don't know who or what a fanboy is then the picture above this artigo SHOULD give you a clue.

ARGUMENTS Anyway, let's start with reasons as to why they argue so much. Not to be confused with just a regular fan, the fanboy is the type of person to only have a desire for one certain game console/company and hate the rest for VERY unrelated reasons.
Example: Nintendo...
