i was woken up por Jake's insanely loud horn. my eyes burst open to see Jake leaning on the capuz, capa of his Rabbit in the parking lot. i opened the window,

Ok I have to say: JACOB ROCKS! Not only does he LIKE Bella (Ok, well that is a really simple way to put it) but he genuinely cares about her well being. He doesn't want her to be with Edward, but not for the reasons you might think. He's worried that it's not good for her to hang w/ the vampires. He considers himself "healthier" for her to be with.
#1: PERSISTENT
Another plus for Jacob is: He never stops trying. He just keeps plugging along, trying to make Bella amor him. My guess? He'll never stop. Even when she vampinizes. Because that's just how much he cares.
