Kayla’s POV

Edward was late. He was usually dead on eight if he didn’t turn up before. It was half past eight and I was worried. I paced up and down the living-room. Jacob sat on the sofá and watched me. He was just as worried as I was. Edward had impeccable time-keeping, he would call if he was going to be late, he didn’t leave me in the dark like this.
I was thinking all sorts. Had he gone to that stupid castelo to get Mitchell? Was that stupid Mitchell here and he’d gotten Edward? Was Edward hurt? Was he having segundo thoughts about marrying me?
“Kayla, will you please calm down?”...

End of chapter 1
I decide after my chuveiro to go for a drive, to learn my way around, because we had never lived in Forks before. I claim in and started my 2006 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS, I wish I could have had a newer car but we had to blend in. I drove out and decide to go to pick up some food, this was all part of the act, because people did start to notice when you never bought any food.
As I walked into the store the strong sweet smell of vampire hit me like a brick wall.

Chapter 2
I didn't know what to do, should I get out of here or...

Edward’s POV

Kayla went very still. So still she could pass for a statue. Her eyes were wide and staring but unseeing. I thought I saw a flash of gold behind her now maçã, apple green eyes. She said she was possessed. I was doubtful. Possession was not something that existed in real life. Spirits and ghosts did not exist.
But then neither should I. Or Jacob. We were both of myth and legend which asks the pergunta why can’t spirits exist as well.
Kayla relaxed. She stretched her arms as high as possible and then ran her fingers over her bare arms and the cotton vest she wore.
“Well, I’ve been...

"Here we are," Jacob said when we got in the room. It was small. Two twin sized beds, a bath room. That was it. But I didn't really care, as long as I was seguro here. Jacob seemed to know what I was thinking. "We are probably seguro here for about a week," Jacob said.
"That's it?" I said not able to hide the worry from my voice.
"Alice said it will be sorted out por then," Jacob said, but his voice was far away.
"Alice could have lied," I said.
"I don't think she would have," Jacob's eyes were suddenly fierce.
I was about to say something when a phone call suddenly startled us both.
Ring
Jacob picked...

We were together, meant forever
I thought so
Till Jasper came after me
And Edward thought oh no

So the Cullens had to leave
And I was so down
But that's when Jacob came in
And things turned around

I became reckless
Just to hear Edward's voice
I was so out of it
I didn't have a choice

Me and Jacob were friends
Till we didn't talk for a while
Then he told me his secret
As before, I wasn't scared por a mile

Edward thought I was dead
So he went to the Volturi
But then he changed his mind
Once he finally saw me

So when we got back home
To have Edward, I was happy
I wished to be like the Cullens
But then he wanted to stop me

He said I could
But 1 condition he carried
He said he'd do it
But only if we got married
Nightfall Chapter 23: Anger Management (Jake's POV)

The crisp autumn air whirled the leaves around us as I dragged my struggling children out back. I placed them on the ground in front of me staring them down. I couldn’t help but notice how similar they appeared from a distance but up close there was a sharp contrast. They were both the same russet color as my wolf, but Sarah held herself differently than my quick-tempered son who was beginning to remind me a bit of his Uncle Paul although I was reluctant to admit it. Sarah sat perfectly poised, head held high with wisdom emanating from the...
