Even though they did not know it, Bella was listening to everything they were saying, and she wasn't liking what she was hearing.
"I'm telling you! She should just act normal!" She heard one of them say.

Then, growing bored from the ongoing debate she realized that this was her chance, everyone was to preoccupied with trying to decide what she should do, she just slipped behind the house and went through the back door.
