I opened my eyes and found myself back in the white cama and no one was around to talk to, or to jump into there arms, or to just argue with. At first I had thought I had died. The blackness I had so helplessly succumbed was a relief to me. The pain left my arm and I didn’t feel so drained of energy. I actually felt slightly happy that I wasn’t awake anymore. I couldn’t hear anything, see anything or feel anything and it didn’t worry me. It was peaceful. I didn’t know how long that this peaceful silence lasted before sounds started to crash down on me. I could hear conversations, TVs, cars and radios. They pounded down on my ears and all I wanted to do was find the mute button and stop it. Then my sense of touch returned....
