I was waking up and was groggy, and half asleep. I looked around me and noticed I was in a huge bed, and that I was wearing silk pajamas. Then I heard a high soprano voice saying that Nizhoni was awake, and that that Seth-ow. Intense pain in my heart, and lungs. Then I was back at that horrible scene with him and that girl sucking each others face's out.
I rolled over and noticed an IV in my arm. What the hell?! I jumped up and almost fell over, but someone caught me. I looked up and saw laranja eyes, almost hazel. Then I noticed the face, it was Alec's. I remembered crying on his shoulder, and also him saving me, so I just cuddled up, still wanting to be comforted. He smiled at me and it showed in his eyes as well as on his lips.
" Are you ok?" He asked, and I shook my head. What his mind was saying was How did she get into my arms last night, and what did Seth do to her? Edward won't let Seth near her, and said I should take-
" Seth," I heard Edward's voice say, " Take it easy, she doesn't want to talk to you. I would know that better than anyone else."
" No!" Seth boomed," I have to see her! Please, just let me explain to her, then she'll forgive me. I hope..." Seth trailed off, and I could hear him crying, sobbing. It wrenched my heart, hearing him cry like that. If he still loved me I might try and comfort him.
" Seth?" Edward asked, " Nizhoni wants to see you now." How did he know? I wasn't even sure if I was ready to see him, but in the back of my mind I knew that I was losing my self-control to see him. Alec looked at me, and I nodded.
He set me back on the hospital cama and opened the door. Seth growled at him, and Alec hissed back. They gave each other the death glare, then walked different ways. Alec's thoughts were Seth better not hurt her anymore. I'm glad that I chose to turn away from the Volturi so that I was here for Nizhoni...
What?! I can't believe that he did that, and even more, that he did it for me. He has kind of a fatherly amor for me, like he should care for me to make it up to my Masani. That's what his mind was saying in the "subtext".
The door opened up mais and Seth stepped in. I turned my head to look at the wall, away from Seth's warm presence. My body was yearning to fling myself into his warm, caring arms, but my pride got in the way and wouldn't let me.
The cama creaked as Seth sat down seguinte to me, at the foot of the bed. I pulled my feet up to my chest and wrapped my arms around them. I didn't want to touch him when that girl was touching him just yesterday, I think.
" Seth." I blurted without thinking. He looked at me expectantly, with hope, love, and sadness in his eyes.
" How long have I been out?" I asked. His face fell and he turned his head, looking ready to cry.
My arms reached towards him reflexively and he turned his head back to me. My arms snapped back into place, then a single tear rolled down Seth's cheek and I broke down. I grabbed his hair and pulled his mouth to mine, the way I had seen that girl do. He pulled me closer to him, onto his lap, and I could taste his tears in this passionate kiss. That's when I noticed that I was crying with him, because if he still loved me he would have told me por now.
He pulled away and whispered into my ear, as if leitura my mind, " I'll always amor you, no matter what. Just forgive me, please. I couldn't stand it if I lost your trust and your lov-" he broke off as a sob came from me.
He looked down at me with concern on his handsome face, and I said, " You'll never lose me. I'll always amor you no matter what. Just dont ever do that again, or I might lose it." My voice broke when I said "again", and I had to look away.
He grabbed my chin and forced me to look into his eyes. He was all teared up again and he gave me an impish smile and said " Never." Then we started to make out again, with renewed passion that neither of us were going to lose each other.
The door slammed open and Edward had a scared look in his eyes. He opened his mouth and his voice was raspy as he said, " The Volturi are on their way here." Then he was gone, probably off to Bella. Seth growled and pulled my even closer to him.
