It had been two weeks since Charlie's death.Surprisingly,Mom seemed to have gotten over it.She was busy fussing over me as Jake and I tried to have some alone time on the chouch in our living room.Mom's back turned for a segundo and Jake rolled his eyes.I sighed,"Mom.I'm fine.Can I please take care of myself?"
She turned around,"But what if the baby comes while I'm a-"Jake interrupted her."If she goes into labor,I'm sure you all would her me calling.She'll be fine!You need to give it a rest.Besides,"he laughed."she's only three weeks pregnant."She raised her hands in protest,but Jake pointed towards the door."It's time."
Finally accepting defeat,she bent down towards me."Call if you need anything,"she whispered.I nodded,I,too,rolled my eyes.She walked silently out the door.Jake tilted his hands,listening.When he was sure she was gone,he groaned."Finally!I thought she would never leave!"
"She may be a little over-protective,"I said."but her heart's in the right place."He laughed."A little?!"
I laughed and smacked his arm.For a minuto we sat in silence.Then I felt the baby kick."Jacob!"I said."He's kicking!"The baby had only kicked when we found out I was pregnant.He placed his hands on my stomach as the baby started to kick again.I had a thought."I think we need to decide on a name."He looked at me and nodded.
"I thought that if it was a boy,we should name him,"I paused as my eyes misted over."Ch-Charlie."
He scooted closer and put his arms around me as a tear fell from my right eye,making a tiny,dark spot on the blanket Mom had insisted putting over me."It's perfect,"he said.I wiped my eyes and leaned closer to him."I think you should decide his middle name."He smiled and said,"I kind of was already counting on that.I think we should name him Sam."
"I amor it."Sam'll be happy."His eyes got a far away look in them."But what if it's a girl?"I smiled,"Ella."He peered down at me."Let me guess,Bella and Edward?"I nodded."And her middle name should be Leah,"he said.I smiled."That would be nice.Charlie Sam Black and Ella Leah Black."

Carlisle was speaking to us in his office.It was later that dia and he wanted to try something."I know you're only three weeks pregnant,"he began."but the baby is growing at a fast pace and I don't know if I'll be able to see it because you're half vampire and Jacob is a wolf.
He moved a wierd looking device over my abdomen.His eyes widened as he glanced at the screen."What is it?"Jake asked.Carlisle looked at us and smiled.
"Say hello to Charlie and Ella!"
