How many seasons are in true blood is it still going?

Actually there are 14 books, and still writing. If you want to ask how many seasons will be next, I just can tell you that just the public will decide that.

The books are fantastic (imho) but they are vastly different from the show so if you decide to read them go in knowing that they show/books are very different
