"what do you mean 'you had to'?" i asked. he looked at me with even mais sorry eyes. "I found holly." he said. "who's Holly?" i asked. a stong wave of daija-vu washed over me. he changed the suject. "so do you want to what i wanted to show you?" "OK!" he went to the steps. when he came back, he had a cage. inside was a beautiful black and white owl. "oh Cody, she's beautiful!" i said. "thanks, her name's shadow." he said. "shadow," i repeated her name. "suits her. you have one beautiful girl here." i said. "not mine...read the note." he said pointing to her leg. it read:
