God, it's hard to write like two little kids.
-----------------
It has been a while since I went to the park, so I want to go today. I decided to bring my stuffed bunny, Boo-Boo along with me, he’s been eating a lot of cake lately, I’m pretty sure he’s sick, and my mommy always told me that if you’re sick you should have fresh air.
I walk to the park (it’s only a few blocks away) and want to go on the swings. There’s this one blue balanço that’s so much mais pretty then the rest of the swings, I called it Sky. Cause it’s the colour of the sky.
My mouth drops open when I see that sitting in Sky already is a boy. A boy my age, I’ve never seen him before but I wanted the blue balanço for myself, so I already didn’t like him.
“You’re sitting in my swing.” I tell him.
“Your swing? The blue balanço belongs to everyone, stupid.” He replies.
“Give me my swing!” I pout.
“NO! I want the balanço for myself!”
“Fine,” I start to walk away until he jumps off the balanço and stops me.
“What are you doing?”
“Nothing,” He smirks a little and laughs. I think he thinks it’s fun to be mean to girls. I know guys like that.
“You’re so mean!” I yell at him.
He smiles at me a little and chuckles, “I’m not mean.”
“What’s your name anyway?” I ask.
“Teddy,” He tells me.
“Teddy? What kind of name is Teddy?”
Teddy folds his arms in what mommy always called the “grump” position. “I’m sure it’s better then whatever your dumb name is!”
“I’m Maylene,”
“Maylene? Now that’s a stupid name!”
“No it’s not!”
“You’re not very pretty either,” Teddy tells me. “Mom always says no girls are ugly, but she hasn’t met you.”
I look at him, he doesn’t seem like he actually thinks I’m ugly. His cheeks are red, and in filmes people’s cheeks are always red when they like someone.
“You like me, don’t you?”
He jumps back a little, “No I don’t!”
“Yeah, you do!”
“I should get going anyway. I don’t want to stay around this park when there’s icky girls like you here.” Teddy tells me.
I stick my tongue out at him while he walks away. He likes me, but he calls me icky?
Boys are so confusing.
