I guess half and half sums it up for me.

I love him as a character, so I do feel sorry for him when all those horrible things happen to him, especially in episodes where he hasn't even done anything wrong! Although I do find that his misfortune is part of what makes him a lovable character too. So all in all, I tend to have very mixed thoughts!

Half and Half works for me. I feel sorry for him with all the things he goes through and especially when he did nothing wrong.I like him as a character,I agree with glesley above! with all that he goes through makes him such a lovable character! so it's a 50/50 thing for me.
